Great Sales Enablement and CMS Platform
We needed the ability to incorporate a workflow process for our content creation team and personalize content at the account level without forcing users to individually re-create each sales piece.
Pros
We anticipate getting a lot of use out of the "LiveDoc" capabilities for our ABM efforts in the coming years. We also anticipate that Seismic will eventually replace Microsoft OneDrive entirely as our document repository and Sharepoint as our corporate intranet.
Cons
It would be nice if content could be displayed and/or shared externally. Seismic's entire pricing model is predicated on each consumer of content not specifically sent something through the system itself having a license.

Game Changer for Training and Enablement
Overall, Seismic is great. I have not used many content creation or knowledge management tools like this, but Seismic has significantly and positively impacted my team and has paramount to our knowledge management success.
Pros
Not only does it allow you to create content, but I love the ability to add multiple choice, matching choices, and other question/answer selections to test the assignee's knowledge after they complete the lesson. It's like taking Google forms but an upgraded version and building it right into the lesson, which is great!
Cons
What I struggle the most when creating new lessons in Seismic is the inability to add pictures directly in the middle of a text box. Sometimes I want to insert a graph or picture without having to break the text box up and create a second text box.

A great document management platform
I’ve used Seismic as part of our my engagement with a vendor at work. It’s very user friendly and allows searching and collating documents very easy. The repository itself is efficient and fast to index as well as nimble to locate related documentation.
Pros
Very easy to navigate and find the relevant documents. The indexing works well and is very convenient to group together the documents.
Cons
The interface can be a bit more modern and crisp - that’s just a nitpick

My client will cancel their Seismic subscription
Negative. My client will cancel their subscription to Seismic, and I fully endorse that decision. Waste of money.
Pros
Seismic works well as a database. If all you want is a strict CMS used by marketing, but not necessarily for customer-facing delivery of content then Seismic is quite good.
Cons
Seismic is really, really bad when it comes to enabling sellers to create relevant, timely, and valuable messaging for customers. The micro-site / digital sales room functionality is extremely weak. Customers do not engage. Highspot is much better in this regard... which isn't difficult.

Explains all the achievements and failures of marketing channels
Integrating Seismic with our marketing efforts has enabled us to keep track of all customer journeys. Seismic’s data has enabled us to better sort customers, and prepare new targeted campaigns that fit their needs.
Pros
I liked the simplicity of Seismic, it provides a colorful display of data and graphs. Seismic’s detailed breakdown of the content and achievements of each marketing channel independently is great, it allows us to learn a lot and keep comparing between channels and understand the differences better. I liked how Seismic allows us to delve deeper into the details of any marketing channel to know the actual conversion volume, and extract comprehensive data that shows how successful or unsuccessful it is in motivating customers. I liked Seismic LiveDocs, which is very special for automating reporting and collaboration.
Cons
Seismic connects directly to our multiple channels, collects data, and updates it automatically without errors.

Friendly, Helpful Staff; Ultimately Not the Right Tool For Our Business Use Case
We're a small proposals team that is part of a larger sales operations team. We use Seismic to general product-specific proposals for our salespeople to present to customers as part of our larger response to customer RFPs. My understanding is that there is much more functionality available in Seismic, but all we need it for is proposal generation.
Pros
The Seismic staff we worked with were always friendly and helpful.
Cons
It has been very difficult for us to edit/update the LiveDoc content, and being able to do that is essential to our work. Seismic is in the process of finding a solution for us, but they haven't delivered one yet.

Perfect for Clients, Though a Bit Difficult on the Back End
Overall, this product has been a wonderful addition to my client support efforts. While the backend organization and internal capabilities can be a bit clunky, the streamlined user experience and valuable engagement insights make it well worth it.
Pros
One significant benefit of Seismic is the activity updates it provides. When users log in and view the attached content, I can see what specific parts of the content they are engaging with. This real-time insight has greatly improved my client relationship management, as I can easily understand what my clients are interested in.
Cons
It can be challenging to keep back-end content organized on the platform, and I often struggle to find the content I'm searching for given the platform's layout

Great tool for sales enablement and knowledge sharing
Pros
Seismics a great tool for cross-functional document sharing. We use it company-wide, changing permissions between teams, to allow everyone to access important documentation that'll help them in their roles. For example, I work in marketing but my content is incredibly important for sales enablement. I store it all on Seismic so the sales team have a one stop shop to find anything they need, without having to ask me for it.
Cons
It's not an incredibly intuitive platform. I'd also like it if it sent reminders for approvals as a lot of the time, documents need to go through a string of stakeholders for approval before publishing, but these stakeholders forget. It'd be great if it sent nudge alerts to these stakeholders after X amount of hours.

A structured approach to sustain ongoing learning and maintain peak-level support.
Seismic has brought an unparalleled level of smoothness to our training processes, providing quick solutions to the challenges we encounter. This, in turn, has led to performance improvements and heightened operational efficiency.
Pros

I particularly appreciate how Seismic facilitates ongoing feedback exchange among team members, fostering a perpetual sense of readiness. This collaborative effort transcends limitations and promotes the dissemination of knowledge. It's truly remarkable that we've been able to create and deliver advanced, distinctive training content, all thanks to the robust features Seismic offers, ensuring the continuous evaluation of our operations.

Seismic is a great tool for tracking down sales materials!
As a relatively new employee, Seismic is a lifesaver when it comes to finding material and training myself on our extensive product offering. I wish I had known something like this existed because my previous employer could definitely use it!
Pros
Seismic is very easy to use and has been adopted widely by our company. As part of our sales team, I use Seismic daily to locate marketing/sales materials that can easily be shared with our customers and distributor partners. I also love the using the NewsCenter to find keep an eye out for relevant company announcements that might impact my customers. Finally the WorkSpace is a great way to share files and collaborate with others instead of sending attachments back and forth via email.
Cons
I really can't think of anything I would improve about Seismic. It meets all my needs.

Great knowledge base software and resource that can be leveraged by a sales team.
It's been great. Being able to access documents for not only myself but my team has been imperative to our success and sales cycle.
Pros
Being able to retrieve the latest version of a document is incredibly important for our team. Seismic always have everything updated. No need to download a copy, every time you search for it, you can leverage the latest copy and update the document.
Cons
One would be the mobile app, which I didn't know existed until I saw the previous questions. That would help a ton. Other than that, not many cons to this software

Seismic Review
Pros
I would highly recommend this product. I have been using it for roughly a year and it has simplified approaching clients and consultants. My favorite feature would be the tracking aspect. You can send tailored documents to someone and see if they opened the email and if they did how long they viewed each page of the document. Easy way to gauge whether or not the information you are sharing is relevant.
Cons
It does seem that if you send emails out to a group of people at the same time that it has a higher likelihood of being sent straight to spam and it never gets viewed.

certainly satisfied with Seismic as a platform partner we use here at the company.
Pros
Being able to store all of our documentation in one location is essential. able to see which is latest files uploaded. as well as being able to see their usage across the company. another key feature we use is LiveSend and LiveInsights being able to track important documentation we send along to customers and track their open rates and time spent.

Making my life so easy
It has been very easy, streamlined, and I use it everyday!
Pros
I like the most that I am able to easily search around for different content to send to my prospects. We even have it organized by what content to send out for each stage. This makes it super easy to know what I should send out to secure a deal. Also, I get very important engagement information that lets me know when someone has opened up my emails that I have sent out!
Cons
I think my biggest con is that even if I am the one opening up a document sent out, they still track that and I get notifications even when I view the document.

Seismic Really Helps!!
Pros
The most important use of Seismic is that you can use it as a library, it can store all kind of documents, presentatios, videos, update news, etc. all of them in just one platform, and at your hand. It´s really awesome.
Cons
Maybe it could be offer in different languages, for users from other countries/languages. Also, i´d like the software were avaiilable for many other users, as a kind of level users management (free for some users).

Seismic Makes Work Easier
Seismic allows me to collaborate with partners so much easier. Now that we're all virtual with the pandemic, this is so important and Seismic really delivered! I also love how I can keep myself organized with the use of the WorkBooks in Seismic.
Pros
I love the search feature. My company pushes out a lot of great content and collateral to share with prospects and I can search a key word and everything that relates to that will generate. You can also filter internal/external documents, which makes it so easy to know that I'm in compliance with company policy
Cons

All-In-One Information, Content, and Knowledge Base
Seismic is like the Swiss Army Knife of LCMS tools for sales enablement. We are getting information distributed to as many people as possible as efficiently as possible, with control over who can see what. The LiveSend features make customer interactions much more straightforward while also adding helpful analytics to deals. It's effortless to find the information you need if you know that everything "lives" in Seismic.
Pros
Fantastic tool! Seismic's multi-layered architecture is what makes it so awesome. It manages documents and allows you to create a simple website creation to collect & present data, and has interactive features to connect with clients. As far as information centers and content management tools go, you can't do much better than Seismic. Some enterprises may be able to run all their systems on the Seismic platform alone. I strongly recommend Seismic to any sales enablement organization.
Cons
I only have minor quibbles: The Micro-App functionality is still somewhat limited, and the search engine could use a tad more fine-tuning.

Single Source of Truth for Sales Material
Seismic has all but eliminated the issues of having too many sources for sales material, out-of-date sales material, and how long it would take to create your own sales material. The tool allows me to have all of these resources in one place, have confidence it's all current and accurate, and it can easily be personalized through in-application workflows.
Pros
Seismic has quickly become the single source of truth for our sales material, allowing us to easily send out informative, accurate, and personalized content to prospects and customers. I really enjoy the WorkSpace feature which allows me to have a personalized view of the content I use the most, and to host documents that are then not made available to a wider audience. Additionally, the LiveSend feature has provided immense benefits by allowing me to see views metrics on the content I send out.
Cons
While working on some of the larger content that we personalize, the platform takes longer to respond. It's understandable in that we're dealing with hundreds of slides, and solution is working to create a slide deck or pdf with them.

Seismic- Use it Everyday
It is a great concept that every business should have. A one stop shop for everything you need to do your job!
Pros
Currently it is integrated with our Salesforce application and works smoothly through there or as a standalone. I use this everyday for my own reference as well as finding materials for clients. There are features that allow you to see when the documents were last uploaded to ensure you have an updated version as well as see if certain information is confidential. It has helped me grow in my current role and is my go to for everything product related! I describe it as the internet for my company, it has everything I need in one place.
Cons

Achieve brand and firm cohesion with Seismic
Seismic has helped bring sales and marketing together with our operations and data teams to ensure clients are receiving timely and accurate materials. The integration with our CRM allows Sales to stay in their comfort zone while leveraging a new tool. The platform is constantly improving, offering new functionality and becoming more user friendly. The support staff is helpful and the training materials are very accessible and easily consumable. Seismic is a true partner and worth checking out.
Pros
Seismic provides an easily accessible repository for all of our most recent marketing materials. Particularly while our teams have been working remotely, WorkSpace has been a great collaborative tool for our marketing team during production. And when Sales asked if the materials on the shared drive were available in the cloud, it felt great to answer affirmatively that they could find everything they need in DocCenter or NewCenter in Seismic.
Cons
It would be great if it was easier to publish collateral from WorkSpace to DocCenter, but it's really just a few extra steps to make that happen. The product offers so much functionality it can be overwhelming to determine the right place to start, but the customer success reps are very accessible and helpful in offering insight.

A fantastic tool for empowering the organization with shared resources and improve accessibilit...
Pros
SEISMIC is incredibly simple to use. It is very easy to navigate. Simple search terms can be used when looking for different resources. The platform can be integrated into existing portals. It has been invaluable in empowering not only the sales team but developers and other members of the IT team within the organization. The tool is as effective as the information that is uploaded. However, once managed properly, it makes tracking changes and following up on new developments such an easy task.
Cons
If I am being honest, I really have never had any real issue with using the platform as it has improved over time. Searching is easy, results are well organized. Initially navigating between the results, accessing documents and going back to the results may not have been very seamless. However, all that has now significantly approved. Again I will say the tool is as powerful as what is uploaded, categorized and made sharable.

Personal customer success is the difference
I have used Seismic at my last company and brought the platform to my current company. The customer success is the differentiation. In my experience the CSM team is kind, knowledgeable, supportive and the ultimate partners to their customers. They go above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy and successful.

Showpad's sales team was not very responsive, supportive and lacked professionalism. After the demo their team never followed up, I had to take that action. Impactful Enablement & Content Management System
With Seismic, are reps now have access to the latest materials to stay on-brand and on-message, get fast answers to their questions and a single source of truth across the company for the "blessed" version of close to 1,000 assets we maintain.
Pros

It's easy to upload, organize, maintain and send out new content, with lots of functionality that makes the lives of our sales teams easier like customizable decks and documents. Sales Enablement Made Easy
We have had an overall great experience with Seismic. We have bi-weekly calls with our customer success manager who helps us understand different features and answer any questions.

Seismic for Sales
Pros
Seismic offers an unparalleled mobile experience, content engagement analytics and information security
Cons
Currently there is no way to measure mobile app downloads across their user base. The mobile app is one of our favorite features of Seismic. Our company has field reps across the globe who are going into customer locations for meetings and presentations. The functionality of mobile aligns perfectly with the daily life of our sellers and we want to use mobile as a "beachhead" to drive higher adoption of Seismic. The problem is that we have no way of knowing today who has downloaded the app and who has not. Therefore, we cannot hold our sellers accountable for missing push notifications and cannot identify regions with low adoption. Seismic mobile is a fantastic tool, but lacks the insight necessary to drive usage.

Why YOU Should Choose Seismic
Pros
The EASE OF USE. Coming from a company that used only internal builds to manage all our data/documentation/decks/etc. (it was highly inefficient, time-consuming, frustrating) - moving over to a company that uses Seismic was so refreshing. Seismic has such robust (still easy to use) search and filtering functionality that it makes finding everything you need simple. The tracking capabilities give you the upper hand on where clients/prospects are spending their time reading through your materials so you can know where to focus your following communication. 10/10 would recommend.
Cons
My main dislike is syncing new documents into the system to update previous versions. I do wish this was a bit easier to upload a new version rather than sync and sometimes do so multiple times.

Awesome features and easy to use
Pros
We use Seismic as a centralized repository for many company documents spanning a variety of different areas of our business. They layout is great and easy to use and navigate through. There is more functionality available that I personally don't take enough advantage of, such as Live Send and Meeting Space. As a sales leader, I share relevant items in my team's shared Workspace, categorized by topic in different folders. We always are up to date with changes to any of the documents as we're notified if the content has been updated. Seismic has been a great tool for myself and my team to stay connected and up to date with the latest news/documents/decks/policies and so much more from our company and peers.
Cons
I don't have very many cons with Seismic. I wish the search functionality was a little better so it was easier to find what you're looking for. However, I believe some of that is on us to put better tags on documents.

User of Seismic to support the growth of our Health Plan Products
I am new to the team that supports Seismic so was not with them for the negotiating and implementation stages. We do have a cloud based version however do not have it integrated to our Sales CRM Dynamics 365 yet. On top of that there are features within Seismic we have yet to take advantage of such as LiveSocial, Lessonly and MicroApps. The teams short term goals are to engage with our heavy Sales & Marketing users first to get them on board with how to use Seismic for their most efficient needs. We have a low internal user adoption rate so increasing that first will allow us to explore more features in the future.
Pros
The Insights dashboards feature immense amounts of data to capture both within Seismic as well as pull in results from CRM integrated products. Plus there is lots of flexibility to create custom dashboards that meet any and all of our needs.
Cons
We are experiencing issues with LiveForm generation of files as a preview. When we test LiveForm data and click 'Generate' it's able to complete task to download file but no preview within current window is available.

Seismic allows our sales team to make more informed decisions by understanding customer...
We we're using another sales enablement tool previously, but Seismic has really been a game changer for the way our sales reps engage with our practitioners. The LiveSend and ability to utilize analytics helps us understand which content is most valuable, and what content is most engaging for our practitioners to close more sales. In turn, this visibility gives us more insight for marketing when developing our sales collateral to ensure alignment between science, marketing, and sales on product messaging.
In addition, the Seismic support team has been awesome, they are readily accessible and able to handle all of our technical concerns. I'd highly recommend Seismic if you're looking to take your sales force to the next level.
Pros
Seismic has awesome reporting for us to see what is working or not working. I also love the LiveSend feature which enables our sales reps to have a stronger understanding of our doctor's behaviors, not to mention drives sales.
The software is easy to use, and allows our marketing team to learn which product literature is most effective and impactful. This tool strengthens the alignment between sales and marketing.
Cons
We've been running into some uploading issues, and experience minor bugs here and there. Usually software updates resolve most of these, but we run into these issues periodically.

Increased content distribution by 90% in one month
Overall the tool is intuitive and the learning curve is very shallow. Team enablement took little to no time, and understanding the back-end was extremely simple. We are always looking for different and creative ways to leverage the tool, so I am excited that the new Seismic University program has just been rolled out.
Pros
Streamlines the lines of communication between Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to ensure everyone knows where to access any piece of content at any time. No more guessing or messaging across 10 different group chats to locate a case study, battle card or blog post.
Cons
The lack of integration with Salesforce is frustrating, particularly for measuring ROI. Being able to see which pieces of content have impacted which opportunities is critical for supporting Marketing in content creation resources, as well as justifying the value of the tool for the overall organization (as this is used across multiple departments).

A Fun and Interactive Approach to Send Marketing Materials to Clients!
In the beginning it was a little challenging for me to learn Seismic and I am not a super tech-savvy person. Once I received the adequate training and discovered how easy it is to import our company's marketing materials to Live Send, I use it anytime I'm asked to send our materials. That could be daily or weekly depending on the opportunity. Our clients can learn about our equity strategies and I'm able to tell which ones they spent the most time on and have garnered the most interest. I can then share that valuable feedback with my colleagues. It's also a lot of fun to use!
Pros
I like how quick and easy it is to create a file that contains several documents and it allows me to see which marketing materials our clients find the most interesting and useful. Once I was trained on Seismic and learned all of the features of the site, I became very comfortable using it on a daily basis and the data it shares allows my team to focus on specific areas and strategies for prospective and existing clients.
Cons
I don't have any cons as of yet. The functionality has been very easy to work with and integrate in my daily business.

Seismic is AWESOME!
Overall, I am very happy with Seismic and would recommend it to any sales organization. It helps us send our clients marketing material easily while remaining in compliance, as well as gain insight into who clicks on the email and how much time they spend reviewing the material. This is an excellent tool!
Pros
My team frequently utilizes the Seismic LiveSend feature, which enables us to email sales pamphlets to 20 clients at a time. When clients click on the Doc Link in the email, we are notified, so we know how to better focus our efforts.
Cons
I feel as though the document search feature could be improved upon. Sometimes, it is difficult to find exactly what you are looking for.

Overall Seismic is a great platform that concentrates on the end-user sales experience, as well as the back end support experience. It geared to help move your company forward.
Pros
What I like about Seismic is that it is a multi-functional platform that can be an all-in-one for tool for some companies.
Cons
What I liked the least is that in the beginning it takes a minute to learn the platform and how to become fully comfortable with it.
