## Reviews

### "Reliable and easily adopted. Excellent customer service." — 5.0/5

> **Jason** | *19 March 2022* | Entertainment | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Setup was simple and maintenance has been trivial. The codebase had been refactored just before our adoption and the newer technology has proven flexible, extensible and reliable. Customer attention has been personal and consistent.
>
> **Cons**: The prices have been creeping up as they add features to compete up the market. While the features are solid and well crafted, many of them are beyond our needs but obviously necessary to be competitive and grow in the market.
>
> A previous ticketing system became unmanageable, hostile and even extortive. In a panic, I quickly surveyed replacements. ThunderTix quickly proved the best both as a product and in alignment with out organization's mission statement of regional support and being woman- owned.

With meaningful but minimal help from the ThunderTix tech team, we converted over immediately with literally no down time. Setup was less than a week, probably 3 days max, and has worked perfectly for years.

### "Great for Smaller Companies" — 5.0/5

> **Mat** | *1 July 2025* | Performing Arts | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It really is a very intuitive program. I don't find myself wasting too much time trying to figure out features or struggling with customer service. The learning curve as a new system was very reasonable.
>
> **Cons**: The packages and season tickets can be a bit confusing, but it's a slight adjustment - more of a learning curve for our patrons. I don't love some of the fee structures outside of ticket purchases (percentages of donations, etc.) but the structure for tickets is good enough to be worth it.
>
> Overall, I think ThunderTix is a reasonable and accessible product for smaller theatres and organizations. We have gotten creative with our use (selling tickets for bus trips as merch through ThunderTix, etc.) and that has streamlined quite a few of our antiquated systems. There are some features that make me think this might not be a great product for huge companies, but for our purposes, it really is quite perfect.

### "ThunderTix was an easy critical upgrade at a crucial time" — 5.0/5

> **Jason** | *17 March 2022* | Entertainment | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It has been a very easy, extremely reliable tool that I can take completely for granted.
>
> **Cons**: The price is competitive, but they are being forced to follow market costs. While the features expand, the price has to. We have not had need of the more advanced features, but a more advanced company/user would definitely benefit from them immediately.
>
> We had a service provider go insane on us, demanding unbelievable payments in an almost extortionate setting. I researched the options, limited by our resources, and determined they were many of the things that aligned with our company and its mission statement: Regionally based, woman owned, technologically current.
The entire conversion took only a few days. We were up and running with them in less that a week and have NEVER missed a single event.
They have PERSONALLY reached out to us multiple times for feedback, concerns, and ideas. We have not been unhappy about a single thing technologically or as a customer.

### "Fine but not the best option out there" — 2.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *22 June 2018* | Recommendation rating: 5.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The customization is really nice -- from show details, customer reminders, and prices. The customer side of things is really clean and well setup.
>
> **Cons**: The navigation can be non-intuitive, but understandable once you get the lay of the land. The biggest issue we've come across is the inability to delete or archive orders. Our group sales processes including deposits were always in jeopardy of getting really messy on the back end. Even leaving notes about orders that you couldn't later update would get irritating for the small space provided.
>
> I feel like the biggest benefit is the price and the customization of the software. I would highly recommend spending quality time on the set-up to ensure you're using it to the best of its ability for your organization.

### "Support requests are outstanding" — 5.0/5

> **Janet** | *21 March 2026* | Fine Art | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: I have had numerous interaction with suppport requests. Their service is outstanding. They always follow thru...
>
> **Cons**: ThunderTix is a very fine product. There is noting I am not happy with; don't know what else I can say...
>
> We have been using ThunderTix for 2 concert seasons. We use it for selling concert tickets and fundraising events and we are very happy
