Support team are top notch professionals
Consistently helpful support team, but I have only needed them 3 times in 2 years! On boarding / set up documents and system were well organized and easy to follow. I love being able to use templates and / or tweak notes on the fly. As a solo practitioner, it is helpful to have access to the template library to save time (borrow others' templates or standardized testing tools) rather than needing to build it all out myself.
Pros
When I need help, I have options to use chat, voice call, email, use the bot, or search the guide. Today I choose the chat option so I could continue to work in the background while getting timely assistance. Through the chat, screen shots and a loom video, I was able to correct my issue at my convenience. As happens most of the time, it wasn't a Jane issue, it was a user issue but I was given professional, nonjudgemental support from
[sensitive content hidden]. He was able to ask clarifying questions, look into the various aspects that impacted my scheduling issue and show me how to fix it.
I also appreciate the new Ted Test option to see what clients see/ experience without creating false data in the system.
Cons
I sometimes get confused or forget some details about different appointment types and schedule settings; the details need to line up for the whole system to work properly. But this is true for any EMR, and it isn't really a Jane issue, it's a human issue of keeping up with the details.

I have recently returned to Jane after a three-month break and I LOVE it all over again. The team was so helpful in bringing me back; answering all of my questions even when I thought I had asked them all and found more!
Pros
Ease of use for clinician and client, availability to create surveys for clients to fill out, or for clinicians to use valuable measures online, helpful team members who are qualified to answer any questions.
Cons
there really isn't much I don't like about Jane.

I wanted to like this EHR more than I actually did.
I spent over a month setting up my account only to abandon it after having problems with creating a test client that linked to my account. I was locked out of my account. It created a lot of problems that customer service wasn't able to fix. Customer service was kind and responsive and I believe they would have helped if they could. They refunded my payment, which I think says something good about the company.
Pros
I liked the streamlined intake process for clients. I liked viewing the paperwork that other users submitted.
Cons
It was very time consuming to set up my practice in comparison to other EHRs. The site felt more complicated and less intuitive than other programs I have used.

Comprehensive with Incredible Support
I've tried a few systems, but Jane is the one app I trust to make sure all my needs are taken care of.
Pros
I enjoy the comprehensive nature of the product. That I can maintain my schedule, my client roster, my notes, and financial transactions all in one place makes it very convenient. The customer support is incredible and helped me through some reasonably complex questions. Jane also anticipates my needs, for example sending a comprehensive email about setting up the POS system, the moment I ordered it, so all I had to do was open the box and follow the instructions (that were both written and included visual screen shots. Bravo!)
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve to the product. It isn't as intuitive as some booking programs. And the online video sessions still need a bit of work, but it is improving!

Great first start up software system
It was a great experience working with Jane as we started up!
Pros
It was a great starting software! We very much enjoyed the ease of use, quick to learn notes, and functionality with the lower starting patient population.
Cons
Once we hit a certain limit and we were referring co-treating more patients, we decided we needed the notes to look a little more professional to send out to other providers/practitioners/massage therapist/functional med/acup. that was easier for them to read in an easier manner of us to do.

Easy to implement; lots of great templates and customization options for examination and soap...
Great experience with Jane. Simple to use for our cash practice and I especially like the template library to see examples of what other practitioners are doing for their notetaking.
Pros
The ease of navigation and deployment. The template library was great. It was easy to share templates between practitioners, and to see what others are using.

Jane is User Friendly and Great for Scheduling
In my former role as an admin assistant for a salon, I used the Jane app to book appointments, track arrivals, schedule practitioners and other administrative tasks.
Pros
I enjoyed the user-friendly platform and ability to schedule both client and practitioner calendars in one easy platform.
Cons
I didn't have any strong cons about Jane. Because we used the platform to schedule salon appointments, we didn't often make use of the "charts" feature, but I can see how that would be beneficial for other industries.

A great starter EHR
Jane App was a great experience. I think I would have used this EHR full time if it had a few more integrations like 2-way texting (which is may now have as an add-on option)
Pros
Jane is super affordable, and has more features than you would think!
Cons
Jane had no way to store and easily view X-ray images. As a chiropractor who does take Xrays on his patients, that was critically important to me.

Finally found the perfect EHR system for my solo practice.
Excellent all around. I went through a few competitive EHR systems prior to using Jane and Jane excelled at all the common features and offered many more features that made my solo practice run super smooth. Patients always complimented the interface with the reminders, receipts, scheduling, etc. Never experienced any glitches.
Pros
Everything! It's a well thought out software, with an excellent user interface for both practitioner and patients.
Cons
Getting set up seemed complicated and the process took some time. Once done however it was time well worth investing since once I was up and running, never had any issues and everything ran smooth.

5+ years experience with Jane
I love the scheduling in the charting. This is why I switched to Jane. The problem is is that the bookkeeping and financials are absolutely critical To the success of any business. This is Jane’s weakest area.
Pros
Charting templates and scheduling are the best features.
Cons
Financial reports and bookkeeping it’s a nightmare. I wish there was no unapplied and reapplied payments shown in the reporting. I wish making changes to payments did not result in erroneous transaction lines like “5/15 $15.00 payment, 5/15 -$15.00 payment, 5/15 $15.00 payment.
Sometimes the software settings is confusing- it asks me to set commission rates for an apt type then asks me to set commission settings per practitioner which resulted in me underpaying my staff for a whole year until we audited everything. It was a nightmare. Also if one of my front desk receptionists accidentally selected a practitioner when selling a package it overpaid my staff. Another auditing nightmare to figure out correct commissions resulting in back pay to my employees, even one of them quit over this issue! In the audit I even found the software paying a staff member $25 commission on a “1st late cancellation” which we do not charge the customer for. Generally, Jane’s customer service is great but all they told me about this issue is “that is not Jane’s intended behavior, we don’t know why it did that, we are working to figure it out.” After not hearing back from them for a long time, I sent them another message asking if they had figured it out and received the same reply. I am forced to audit every commission report now every month so if you are somebody who pays commission based practitioners a warningabout commission distributions. Always double check the software cannot be trusted in the financial area.
Reasons for Choosing Jane
Office Ally and practice mate were excellent in the financial area. They weren’t so good in the chart templating and scheduling area. I exchange one problem for a different problem and I’m paying a lot more money for Jane.Reasons for Switching to Jane

Grateful for Jane
The best office software I've used. Really pleased with Jane!
Pros
The customer service is amazing, so many smart and competent people work there! The software is so intuitive and so easy to use.
Cons
After I enter dollar amounts in the EOB and save it, I then have to refresh the billing screen to reflect the new dollar amount and pay off the amount. It's not a problem, but it's just an extra step in receiving a payment.

Charting limitation.
Positive. Usually did not have to wait very long on the phone. Support is usually very pro active and gets back to you within 24 hours.
Pros
Great customer service, willingness to assist and brainstorm a solution.
Cons
We are a medical cosmetic clinic. Charting of injectables treatments are crucial. This is lacking on Jane's template library.
Your template choice should keep up with the industry's innovation of treatment so that we can easily choose the template for laser treatments, radio frequency, microneedling, chemical peel, etc.

Great Experience with Jane so far!
I have loved it and I intend to continue to use it!
Pros
I love that I can get help if needed through email or over the phone and that I am always talking with a live person, not a recording. I love that I can literally take care of my billing, my scheduling, my payments, and my notes/charting all in one place!
Cons
I don't have any complaints yet, I just wish that I better understood the insurance side of things but I honestly think once I start sending claims through it will became really easy for me, I just need practice.

Fantastic Software for Practitoners!
Jane is the most user friendly software I have ever encountered. It is easeful, supportive and so highly integrated to what individual practitioners and clinics need. The team at Jane is always working above and beyond to make changes and work with those who use their software to improve, fix and grow the software in ways that actually work.
Pros
Jane software is easy to use, fully integrated with Google search for any questions I have and of course, the staff at Jane are incredibly helpful and quick to respond and offer support. They take ideas and suggestions of their customers and make changes that best support the people using their software.
Cons
The only area of Jane I think could be done differently or improved upon is the ability to edit or remove insurers, as insurance companies change names and close out and it would be nice to change those names and delete the toggle for inactive insurance companies.

Jane…easy but needs a bit of fine tunong
Overall, this is a good program to use and is easy for new staff to learn.
Pros
Easy to use and learn. Have been using it and enjoy the functionality.
Cons
Ability for clients to book appointments on-line is great. But, sometimes, they will book an appointment with multiple providers and then attend only 1 of the appointments. There needs to be a pop-up or something that won’t allow someone to book the same appointment with 2 or 3 providers as this is not fair to take up multiple time slots when other clients are trying to book in as well. I realize this is an issue with only a small percent of clients, but it is an issue that has happened a few times. Would be great if there was some way to alert the client they can only book 1 appointment at a time…or ag least caution them that they are booking the same appointment with multiple providers and this is not recommended.

Exceptional service.
Great. The platform is good and service is excellent.
Pros
The platform works very well, accommodates most of our needs, and is straightforward.
MOST importantly, the help/service is TERRIFIC. Always get a response quickly and those who reply know what they're doing. And they go out of their way to be helpful.
Cons
It doesn't easily accommodate taking retainers on an account.

Awesome Platform!
Pros
The platform is user-friendly, and the support team is quick and helpful.
Cons
Nothing that I can think of for us—everything worked well. My only suggestion would be to provide more opportunities for clinician meetings within Jane for virtual clinics.

Amazing EHR System
Pros
I love how easy Jane is to use. The office has used this program for a few years, and when I came onboard 2 years ago, was surprised at how user friendly Jane is.
Cons
No "actual" APP is available yet, and no communication via text with patients available yet.
