A complete accounting system. Sales invoices and GST-compliant billing, sales orders, quotes, debit and credit notes, purchase invoices and purchase orders, payments received and made, journals, ledgers and chart of accounts, inventory, fixed assets and projects, and financial reporting including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow. Unlimited users on every plan, with no per-seat fees.

For chartered accountancy firms
Practice management across every client from one workspace. Unlimited client companies and unlimited team members with role-based access. A compliance calendar tracks GST, income tax, TDS and company filing deadlines for each client. Work management covers jobs, tasks, staff allocation and Kanban boards, with scheduled recurring tasks and workflows. A client document portal handles record collection, and a dedicated audit module supports statutory and tax audit engagements.

Document automation
Invoices, bills, receipts and bank statements are uploaded from your device, Google Drive, email, Tally or Excel. Each document is parsed, classified by type, checked against existing records for duplicates, and queued for review. Vendor name, tax registration number, invoice number, amounts and line items are extracted automatically. Nothing reaches the books until someone approves it.

Tax compliance
Returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-9 are prepared directly from the books. GSTR-2B is reconciled against the purchase register to surface input tax credit mismatches before filing. Tax deducted at source is computed automatically, e-invoices are generated with reference numbers, and e-way bills are issued. Returns are prepared for human sign-off and are never filed automatically.

Works with your existing books
Two-way sync with Tally through a free Windows connector, plus Zoho Books sync and imports from Excel and Google Drive. Existing books do not need to be migrated, so a firm can run Smartledger AI alongside what it already uses. Integrations with WhatsApp, Slack and email let teams approve bills and chase invoices without logging in.

Plans
Core accounting is free forever with unlimited users. Paid business plans add the AI suite, document automation and tax filings. Separate annual plans serve accountancy firms, priced per firm rather than per user or per client. Customer data is hosted in India.
