> DocArmor is AI-assisted redaction software for organizations that share documents containing personal or health information. Typical users are health information management and privacy teams releasing medical records, law firms and litigation support teams preparing court filings and productions, FOIA and public records officers, banks and lenders, HR departments and school records offices.

Unlike tools that rely on keyword lists or pattern rules, DocArmor reads each page in context, including scanned, faxed and handwritten pages. That lets it flag identifiers that rules overlook, such as a family member mentioned in a note, an employer or a device serial number, along with faces, ID cards, signatures, stamps and 1D or 2D barcodes.

The AI never has the final say. Findings appear in a review checklist grouped by type and linked to the page. Reviewers remove false positives, add missed items by selecting text or drawing a box, preview the output and then apply. DocArmor removes the redacted content rather than covering it, checks every page to confirm it's gone, and strips metadata, attachments and form values.

Built-in templates cover HIPAA Safe Harbor, PCI / GLBA, FRCP 5.2, FOIA, FERPA, blind hiring, general PII and organizational identifiers. Teams can also describe what to redact in plain English and share those instructions as versioned templates. Each document keeps a record of the template used, the reviewer and their changes.

Pricing starts at $20 for a one-time pack of 222 pages, or $20.99 a month for 300 pages. Every plan includes unlimited seats, and there is a 7-day free trial with no credit card. Enterprise plans add an API, batch ingestion, SSO, a signed HIPAA BAA and private deployment. Files are deleted when you're done, and processing stays in US regions.
