# Practice Harbor

> Practice Harbor is a HIPAA-compliant practice management platform built for solo and group therapy practices in the United States. It serves licensed therapists, pre-licensed clinicians, and supervisors in mental health and behavioral health settings. The software is web-based with no IT setup required.

Core features include AI-generated progress notes (12 built-in templates including SOAP, DAP, BIRP, GIRP and PIRP, plus custom templates) that the clinician reviews and signs, browser-based telehealth with a waiting room, appointment scheduling with automated reminders, insurance billing with electronic claims and ERA posting, intake forms, treatment plans, and a client portal for messaging, consent signing, and payments. Electronic claims are 25¢ each with ERA posting included, insurance eligibility checks are 15¢ each, and Good Faith Estimates for self-pay clients (No Surprises Act) are built in. AI transcription and drafting run under Business Associate Agreements with zero data retention, and session audio and transcripts are never used to train AI models.

Pre-licensed clinicians get full access at no cost, including the supervisor co-sign and supervision hours logging workflow. Licensed solo clinicians pay $19 per month and practices with 2+ clinicians pay $39 per month, with every feature and unlimited clients on every plan. Sign-up takes about two minutes, with no credit card. Records are stored in the FHIR R4 standard, and any client’s complete record exports at any time as PDFs with the raw data as JSON, at no charge. The Business Associate Agreement takes effect when the account is created.

Support is by email and help desk, with a knowledge base, FAQs, documentation and videos. Practice Harbor is not designed for prescribing practices or multi-discipline clinics requiring ePrescribe functionality.
