# Repair Karte

> Repair Karte is all-in-one, cloud-based software for repair shops — phones and computers, musical instruments, watches, shoes and bags, bicycles, cameras, appliances, eyewear and clothing alterations.

Each item you take in becomes one repair ticket: customer, item, symptoms, estimate, due date, shelf location, status and the work performed, on one screen. As a repair moves from received to estimated to done, the customer is emailed automatically and approves the estimate from their phone with one tap.

When the customer comes to pick up, the ticket's Checkout window already shows the balance, with deposits and earlier card payments taken off. Add a case or a battery sold with the repair, take cash, card or a split payment, and the job is marked as picked up. Retail-only sales, returns, held sales, cash in and out, and an end-of-day register close with a cash count all happen on the same POS screen.

Inventory keeps itself in step with the work. Parts and materials added to a ticket come out of stock when the work is done, parts for jobs not yet started show as allocated, and anything at its low-stock alert is listed under Needs ordering. Items can have variants such as color and size, be sold by quantity or at an open price, and be counted on one screen.

Repair Karte also prints check-in tags, estimates, invoices and receipts, takes mail-in repairs, schedules on-site visits, collects online card payments through Stripe, plus deposits and bank transfers recorded on the ticket, keeps an unpaid list with statements for trade partners, and imports an existing Excel or CSV ledger or data from another repair system.

It runs in a browser with nothing to install. The Free plan covers up to 100 repairs a month, includes the POS and inventory, needs no credit card, and stays free. Every new account gets all Pro features for the first 30 days, and there is a demo you can open without signing up.

Repair Karte grew out of a system built for a real instrument-repair workshop in Japan.
