# Regulated Customer Contract Checker

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.co.nz/software/773148/Regulated-Customer-Contract-Checker

> Regulated Customer Contract Checker is for legal operations leads and commercial contract managers at suppliers whose customers are regulated: banks, insurers, hospitals, super funds, retailers handling consumer data.

The problem: in this week's negotiation, the legal operations lead is asked which breach-notice clock the company has already promised to whom, and which customers hold an audit right. The answer sits in a spreadsheet that does not say. A review firm can read every agreement, but it prices per agreement and arrives later. Before anyone reads an agreement again, someone has to say what each customer's regimes expect and what the row records.

How it works:
1. Paste one agreement per line. Customer alone works; Customer, Sector, Country is better; the full row adds agreement type, personal data, DPA or BAA, breach notice, audit right, liability cap, start, term, renewal, notice days and owner. A contract database CSV export works as it is.
2. Each line is matched to published dictionaries of 40 agreement types in six families, 25 customer sectors and 70 countries. Unmatched lines are marked unrecognised.
3. The customer's sector and country decide which regimes attach, each with its reason in a sentence. Covered regimes include GDPR, UK GDPR, DORA, NIS2, the HIPAA Security Rule, CCPA/CPRA, APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234, the EU AI Act, and ISO/IEC 27001 and 27701 for certifications you hold. Untick anything that is not yours.
4. Each agreement shows the terms those regimes expect, ticked where your row shows them and open where it does not say.

What you take away: the breach-notice clocks across every customer, shortest first; every audit right granted; agreements with no DPA, BAA or security schedule shown; renewals and notice dates inside 90 days; and counsel questions grouped by finding. Paid plans add a clock table, obligations matrix, counsel summary and one-page board summary.

What it does not do: it reads your list, not your agreements, and it is not legal advice. Each finding is a question to answer from the agreement itself.

Data handling: dictionaries and clause text load with the page, every reading happens in your browser, and nothing leaves it until you choose to save.

Pricing: the free plan lets you try it without an account, eight agreements at a time. Paid plans: Solo, for one person, costs USD 29 monthly; Team, covering everyone in the organisation, costs USD 99 monthly.
