I trusted the reviews - if you love a system that you need to document the same thing mulptipe...
Beyond frustrating. I starred it a 5 so it would be seen.
Pros
It seemed efficient when we first started with it, read all the reviews which were great...that makes you wonder...
Cons
Having to chart the same thing multiple times, the info doesn't save half the time, some days I've charted 3-5 times on the same chart, if you love charting and love to do it muptipe times on the same chart then this is the program for you.
In the middle of typing it logs you out 'due to inactivity'! In the middle of typing.
Having to ask customer support for the same thing over and over again with no resolve; they would consistently get back to you , without an answer asking about your browser, settings etc even though this was answered every time and set up in the way they asked us to, almost like they were evading an answer as it was rare an issue was ever resolved. They'll then close your ticket if you don't respond in enough time for them, like they expect you to serve them vs them serving you for the service you've paid for.
They did a major update, we thought this was going to make it better, unfortunately this didn't fix any of the issues we were consistently had and made for more issues with the functionality of what was previously working.
Too many bugs and glitches to name

Price - always a factor. Times are DIFFICULT w/economy right now, everything matters!
Cons
texting for help (support tickets), many cases would best to speak w/help. But in my experience, I can't speak w/someone relatively quickly. They'll call back - but I have no idea when - difficult when I'm seeing patients. Or call comes in when I'm not in front of computer.
Or, I'll schedule a call/meeting (GoTo), but it's days ahead.
Would be GREAT if you had some tech folks on-call, for more immediate access or if we could have a window to choose from for a "call back" so we could be prepared? Just some ideas.

Our Business' Experience with AestheticsPro is 10 out of 10!
Overall our business is very happy with AestheticsPro! We came from using an outdated software that was not cloud based, and the ease of using AP is a tremendous difference for us. AP support is top tier and always prompt and helpful with any issues that come up. We have 3 locations for our business and the new Aurora update has made it easier to customize our settings on each location individually. We have regular check-ins with our account manager [sensitive content hidden] to make sure our business is doing well and letting us know about new features, and Daija is always available for assistance when needed. The new AP app that is available with the Aurora update is great to let us view our schedules anytime on the go, or if our computers are having any issues it's great having the app available for us as a backup.
Pros
What I like most about AestheticsPro is the ease of access. It's easy to access our environment from any computer or mobile device at any time without having to connect to server databases or worry about database updates etc.
Cons
What I like least about AestheticsPro is if I have different locations open on multiple tabs in the same browser, it will glitch having multiple locations open and show you the schedule for just one location on both tabs.

I chose AestheticsPro because of the reviews written about how great their customer service is. Their customer service is indeed excellent! The rest is bonus! 1. I love AestheticsPro (AP), however, it would be nice if some of the features, for example the client review option, was included in the price or at least be less than it actually cost. AP is not the most expensive, but not the least either. Some competitors include features such as the client reviews in their subscription price. the cost begins to add up and can make it a bit much, especially when starting out as a newer business.

Aesthetic pro for Medspa
Overall good once learning the program. The automated upgrade was extremely frustrating as no warning was given. Most info didn’t transfer over. When contacting customer service can’t really speak to anyone - put in a ticket and go from there.

An assortment of consents, instructions, ease of sending paperwork to clients before appointment. Ease of scheduling and payment.
Cons
Customer service is hard to get in contact with - actually speaking with a live person. Automatic upgrade is frustrating as no warning was given and most info didn’t transfer over.

Doesn't have medical friendly attributes ie. labs, Smart keys for SOAP notes, the ability to populate a patient's records into their next visit ( we do weight loss in our clinic, our current EMR populates their previous data we take on vitals to the next visit automatically)

I will say the response time for a support ticket is very quick. They are very helpful.

I had not decision making ability. It was in place when purchased business. Would love to find something that integrates with scheduling and google

No manual. Have watched every video but their are things I can figure out. No integration with google. Inability to change confirmation email when appointment changed. Have to be very specific when searching. Hard to up load photos to treatment record

Aesthetic Pro is very easy to use for both providers and patients. I highly appreciate their support team as they're always prompt in their responses. Buyer Beware
Terrible overall - way too many bugs. Support is available but slow. They lock you into a contract because they know their system is terrible.
Pros
Quick setup. Form creation is pretty straight forward.
Cons
Very buggy and limiting. They lock you into a 1 year contract - hidden in the lengthy contract they provide.
Whenever you contact support, you have a lot of back and forth. Some things take months to resolve.
Notifications are not customizable for separate services.

Review After Two Years of Use
On a scale of 1 to 10, the overall experience has been a 3.
Pros
It has served it's purpose for us as a brand new spa, however, as we grow we will need to move to a different EMR system that offers more features & functions.
Cons
Reporting functions do not exist - retention, pre-booking, etc
Online booking function rarely works correctly
There is no customer service number to call
When charging for memberships there is no notification if a payment hasn't gone through
There is no confirmation text unless a patient schedules online
The character limit for SMS text is too low
Consent forms don't always save properly
Charting information doesn't always save properly
There are a lot of issues with the online consent forms, and patients have difficulty accessing them
