# wp2ai

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.co.nz/software/694679/wp2ai

> wp2ai (wp2ai.io) is a WordPress MCP server that protects your sites from AI mistakes. The MCP server is hosted by wp2ai: there is nothing to install or configure on your computer or server, no command line and no configuration file. Designed for agencies and professionals who manage WordPress sites with AI, it connects WordPress to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and any other client compatible with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), so content can be published and updated from an AI conversation without copy-pasting into wp-admin.

How it works: a free, lightweight plugin from WordPress.org connects each site in one click, through a secure, revocable connection, with no API key stored in WordPress. You then add wp2ai as a connector in your AI assistant. The processing runs on wp2ai's servers, so sites are not slowed down. Your AI assistant reads, drafts and edits content, and from the Solo plan, wp2ai checks each action and waits for your approval before any change to published content, unless you enable automatic mode for that site. Drafts remain freely editable.

Core functions:
- Publishing and block-by-block editing of existing content, with full control on Gutenberg and Classic Editor, and replace and delete on Elementor and Bricks
- Validation rules run before each action: 12 on structure and completeness from Solo, 30 including SEO and quality from Pro
- Approval by default for any change to published content, with a detailed analysis of each pending action, and pre-publish simulation on the rules of your plan
- Global and per-site editorial instructions (tone, structure, length) sent automatically to the AI
- Action history with rollback for 90 days, and a WordPress revision before each edit
- From Pro, a multi-site view with content health scores, broken links and orphan pages
- Protection rules per site: draft-only publishing, daily action limits, deletion blocking

wp2ai is compatible with WordPress 6.0+ and reads and writes SEO titles and meta descriptions in Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress, All in One SEO and Squirrly SEO, always in the SEO plugin active on your site. It offers a free plan and paid plans for one to 20 sites and up to 5 users, with a 14-day Pro trial and no credit card required. Developed by webNdev.
