> Career centres are measured on a placement rate that arrives after the students in it have graduated. SkillDrift Career Launchpad measures readiness early instead, across a whole cohort, so a team can act while there is still time to act.

Every student is measured on the same scale. The Career Readiness Score is one number out of 100, computed from nine components rather than self reported, so two students and two departments can be compared. It can fall as well as rise, and every movement carries a plain language reason.

For the institution: readiness by department, heatmaps that name individual students, the gaps blocking readiness set beside employer demand, a placement pipeline, and the course catalogue set against what the market is hiring for.

For the student: one assessment, a career report, target paths with gap analysis, learning that counts only when a check is passed, scored job matches and interview practice.
