> AI.arq is built for the engineer, cost estimator or architect in Brazil who has the project drawings but not the time to take quantities off them by hand. You upload the DWG, DXF or PDF exported from CAD, in the browser, with no plugin and no AutoCAD license, and receive an XLSX spreadsheet with item, unit, quantity and, where there is a match, the SINAPI reference code, organized in up to 18 construction disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, flooring and finishes.

The difference is honesty about where each number came from. Lines marked MEASURED come from the geometry inside a DWG or DXF file, with no tracing and no clicking over the drawing. Lines marked ESTIMATED were inferred and are flagged for you to check. Everything read from a PDF is labelled ESTIMATED, because the scale of a PDF comes from the title block, not from the geometry. A column states the source of every quantity. You review the list on screen, confirm or remove items, and download the spreadsheet again.

AI.arq delivers quantities, not construction prices: pricing stays with the estimator, with the SINAPI reference next to each line that has one. It is not BIM and does not require BIM; it reads the 2D drawings that most projects in Brazil still live in.

Support is by e-mail, WhatsApp and an FAQ in Portuguese. During the open beta the service is free and unlimited, with no credit card: every project, not only the first one.
