What it does

You talk through the exam the way you always have. Scribe listens, then returns a structured SOAP note written in clinical language rather than a raw transcript. It flags the billable items it heard and prices them against your clinic's fee schedule, so the vaccine, the nail trim and the second radiograph land on the invoice instead of in your memory. It drafts client-ready discharge instructions while the owner is still in the room.

The Pro tier adds dental charting driven entirely by voice, anesthesia record capture, and Sage, a clinical assistant that answers with cited veterinary references rather than a guess. Each week a digest shows the billable value every clinician captured.

The part that makes it work anywhere

Scribe does not integrate with your PIMS, and that is a design decision rather than a limitation. Records move across through a one-time code that opens a view-only page, which expires after 15 minutes of inactivity. Scribe therefore sits alongside ezyVet, AVImark, Cornerstone, IDEXX Neo, Provet, Shepherd, Digitail and VIA, and just as importantly alongside installations old enough that no API exists. Nothing to install, no vendor approval to chase, no go-live date.

What you keep control of

You review every note before it is final, and nothing is billed automatically. Raw audio is deleted after three days. The note is yours and stays yours.

Scribe runs on iPhone, Android, iPad and the web. The free tier covers 15 visits a month, forever, with no credit card. Pro is $99 per month with a 14-day trial, or $79 per month billed annually. Veterinary students with a school email get Pro free. Support is by email, backed by documentation and short walkthrough videos.
