Domo Provides Critical BI Functions at Lower Cost
Overall Domo provided all the functions needed out of our BI software and allowed for the connections needed and provided excellent customer service when needed.
Pros
Domo provides all of the essential functions of other products including data connectors, data visualization, data ingestion and exports, as well as dashboard creation. Domo does have a learning curve to learn the difference in how the back end functions are different, but anyone with previous experience should be able to pick it up.
Cons
At times Domo can be slower than other products, and does sometimes crash when ingesting large amounts of data. We also used a browser based UI which could cause trouble if their were browser issues, etc.

Extremely organized and easy way to review data!
Over the past year of learning and navigating this system at work I have found data retrieval to be so much easier than before, and extremely more organized. I cannot express how much I appreciate this program.
Pros
DOMO is a phenomenal program that makes capturing data for the entire company organized and easy to evaluate! We previously used a different operating system and this one is a million times better. It is so easy to navigate and easy to pull the needed reports!
Cons
I think the "Buzz" section that takes up the entire right side of the screen should have a toggle bar to make that section smaller. In the capacity I use this system I don't typically use the Buzz section so it would be nice if I should hide that section and view more of the screen I actually need.

Great for the right customer
Domo has been very great for our business, but as a small business it is clear we are not a target or focused customer group. I believe their suit of tools is best suited for medium to large businesses. They will accept a small business but will not give much attention to them in our experience
Pros
Very fast and powerful data transformations/manipulation that are intuitive and straightforward to perform. Data connections are very broad
Cons
Expensive and hard to understand pricing. Data visualizations are comparable in quality and capability to much more affordable options.

Integrated products of Domo are hard to beat. No one side of their platform is too far ahead of the competition but the seamless use of each is well ahead. Actionable Insights through Visual & Advanced Data
All in general, this tool has helped us look at the data for not just manufacturing or operations department but overall all business units in a more automated and customized way which the teams have loved so far. Also, the PDP feature allows us to ensure we are only giving access to the authorized users and reduce unnecessary bureaucracy.
Pros
I like it because it is really advanced when it comes to Business Intelligence and visual insights. It helps me in quick and impactful decision-making through the metrics I can build on a dashboard and integrate with ERP & SaaS products for my company.
Cons
The data refresh is still i believe not fully there yet. on the daily refreshes, sometimes it forgets to refresh data and then I'd have to wait for a day again to have it update live data. Even though, it is a rare instance, I'd love if this was fixed permanently.

Domo's a fantastic tool for creating data-driven business processes
We used Domo as a major step in our digital transformation. Thanks to its fantastic omni-channel capabilities, we've been able to use it for everything from pinpointing issues in production to measuring the effect of our ads. It's very versatile and has tons of additional features like mobile apps that make our jobs easier. I think implementing Domo has definitely been a great success for us.
Pros
1. It has very impressive performance and uptime. We rarely run into any issues or bugs when using it, and the real-time features work smoothly2. The interface looks great and is very suitable for users with little background in data tools. That was very important for us as several departments are using it at the moment and everyone was able to get the hang of it despite some not being 100% proficient with tools like it.
Cons
It's not as well known as some of the other data management tools out there, so there isn't much of a community behind it. It would be good to have the ability to exchange ideas with other users.

Great no-code/low-code BI tool for SMBs
Great platform for SMB's to level up their BI game. More user friendly to those who may not have any coding/programming experience, but still allows those with technical ability to get the most out of the platform.
Pros
Does not require any technical skills with their no-code Magic ETL dataflows which is super helpful for scaling a BI team.
We are still on a fixed payment term, which has been extended for a few years which is great.
Tons of pre-built connectors for Shopify and paid advertising platforms.
Cons
New pricing update based off token usage will be troubling. Not sure how we would be able to test new dataset builds when we are being charged for each run/update of a dataset.

Work can be stressful - but DOMO can help!
My overall experience with DOMO is a pleasant one. I have all my main filters saved so I am able to dwindle down to my saved features and I get right to my answer. This help a lot because I work on a lot of accounts so it is tedious work. But DOMO allows me to effectively and efficiently move my workload along!
Pros
I use DOMO frequently for my job to collect data metrics. I like how easy it is to access DOMO. It's easy to filter down to the exact metric you are looking for down to the date, metric and number amount. I also like how easy it is to export the file into a Microsoft Excel pdf. When I need to send me findings, I always need to attach the DOMO report which is easy to download.
Cons
DOMO can be a bit confusing and overwhelming to use when you first look at it. But this is because of how detailed it takes you when you are searching for your data. Once you get the hang of it and know how to save your filters, it is a piece of cake to utilize and is very effective.

Domo Accelerates Data Driven Strategy
I have used Domo for about 5 years, and side by side with Tableau for a good chunk of that time. Domo has proven to have better support, UI, user adoption, ETL functionality, and connectors.
Pros
Domo has proven to be more efficient to build dashboards, while being easy to use to bring non-BI users into the fold. I have been amazed by how quickly new users become comfortable and productive using the tools. We leverage a stable of the connectors to further drive our strategy from multiple operational platforms.
Cons
It would be great to be able to multi-layer calculated fields within cards, but this isn't a huge obstacle because of the ETL capability at the dataset level

Domo Makes Managing Easy
Good company with a good product. They are one of the earliest leaders in the BI space. If you are having a hard time managing your company, then this could be an answer.
Pros
By far the best feature is the ability to take lots of crazy, boring data and making it tell a visual story. A picture tells a thousand words.

Most user friendly visualization software on the market
Domo has provided us the ability to integrate data from multiple systems and business units allowing us make more informed decisions. Our client rep is very responsive and always available to help. The Dojo community forum, user groups and annual Domopalooza are all great resources that allow customers to network and share ideas.
Pros
This software is extremely flexible and user friendly. Our users can access data from their phones or anywhere with an internet connection. Users can easily navigate charts and tables. Visualizations are easy to create with drag and drop function. Data from multiple data sources can be easily combined. Built in connectors allow for easy connections to major data sources.

Domo is a truly outstanding, sophisticated, and powerful BI programme
It assists us in seeing what is buried beneath the data. You are aware that not every data can be seen in an excel sheet. It eliminates the need to manually pull and enter all of our data, which is time-consuming. It also allows us to visualise and alter our data in ways that were previously impossible. It offers just remarkable analytical capabilities that have helped us to better leverage all of the organization's data to make choices, particularly commercial and financial ones.
Pros
Every function is quite simple to use, but if you don't know how to utilise it, they provide fantastic knowledge-based publications. Domo enables us to create really well-designed dashboards that present data from numerous sources fast and effortlessly. When it comes to analytical skills, it is also a potent tool with an excellent report generator. Increases visibility into performance. It provides several chart kinds that are categorised based on the requirements. The best thing is that it generates an auto chart utilising multiple dimensions and measurements.
Cons
When an issue happens on the SQL side, I notice it, but I'd need additional information about it. Sometimes a single statement isn't enough to explain what's wrong with the SQL. The colours are terrible, and the graphs and other elements aren't as easy to use as Power BI or other tools. The only thing that may be enhanced is the graphical tools; otherwise, it is wonderful and works well.

Overpromising Undelivering
Sweet and sour. It looked great on paper, but it's turning out to be more challenging to work with than expected.
Pros
Flexibility of ingesting, manipulating and outputting data in one place. The connector system paired with the native data warehouse, ETL and visualisation capabilities allow for a quick data to market on data projects
Cons
Support is poor across the board. It seems like we can't trust most of Domo's capabilities to support enterprise-grade functionality. There's multiple gaps on connectors, weird inexplicable performance degradation periods and gaps around managing data quality pipelines.

Data Visualization and Data Warehouse Match
It is a fun software that allows you do experiment and become familiar with the data any way you want to.
Pros
I like how there is a lot of things you can do with the software. You can create ETLs, use SQL to transform data, create visualizations, and more. It is like a swiss army knife with data, it can do almost anything. I also like how there are multiple ways it lets you do the same thing, which allows you to find whatever you feel most comfortable with and do it that way.
Cons
Sometimes navigating the software is a little confusing, especially when switching between various datasets.

Good all-in-one platform
Pros
It's generally pretty easy to get data into Domo and the ETL options make it pretty easy to do any necessary data cleaning and transformation. The platform is user friendly and building visuals are straightforward, although they can be limited at times.
Cons
Domo's support team definitely needs improvement - their response time is lacking and frequently ask for information that has already been provided in the initial ticket submission. It's also easy for the platform to become very disorganized - Domo could definitely benefit from implementing some data catalog functionality.

Great with a dash of salt
Overall experience is good. Just need more training options for specific subjects. Update the developer site.
Pros
Very powerful and very flexible software. Lots of options to get data into Domo and to manipulate it.
Cons
Training/Learning. I have to search all over the web to learn how to do things. When I work with Domo developers I'm told the training material is out-of-date and I should be doing something another way. (I appreciate the honesty of the developers, just not the out of date training material). Need some kind of tier training system. Not every user needs all the nitty-gritty details, but others like myself who have to work daily in domo need better understanding of the details.

Pros
As a person who mostly works with ETL and Data visualization I can say that cards and dashboards approach allows developer/analyst to visualize and analyze data, but business users will find it complicated.
Working with various data sources, scheduling pipeline updates and reports, setting up alerts, and managing data lineage is easy.
Cons

It solves your data analysis problems with a robust solution
We needed a BI tool to manage large amounts of company data, learn more about our business daily, and generate actionable reports and insights for management. Domo has been an invaluable tool for our company, allowing us to easily combine information from many sources for analysis and improved decision-making. One of the many advantages of getting lots of data is that you can queue it up, and it will continue to process in the background while doing something else.
Pros
I like how easy it is to pull information from various sources, create and save custom dashboards, and then distribute them to my team and any other departments that will lend a hand. Its most robust feature is the application's ability to configure many types of protection, such as data-level security and folder-level security. The design is aesthetically pleasing, and the user interface is simple.

Negative. I will ensure anyone looking for similar software chooses another vendor.
Pros
How inexpensive it is. Compared to its competitors, Domo is the most affordable option. By no means does this make it the best solution.
Cons
1) It's functionality is a weak version of Tableau. 2) Their customer service is beyond horrific. Our experience with their platform was sub-par. Renewal notifications were sent to the email address of an employee who is no longer here, and Domo is now demanding we owe them for a multiple year contract.
