Nice software but we grew out of it...
It's a generic CRM software that you can tailor to your own needs. In the end we needed a software that was specific for publishing.
Pros
User-friendly and very easy to use. You can add all sorts of custom fields for your own reporting and tracking needs.
Cons
No invoicing, no estimates/proposals, the multiple email only works with Gmail accounts, no online payments. It helps you keep track of people, but doesn't really help you bring in the $$$ once a sale has been made.

Was it a waste of time, a scam or a company that doesn’t care? - I still don’t know.
After a short consultation about how another CRM could not meet my needs, Pipeline assured me that they would be able to do it. I had questions and I was told that to get the answers and help I needed I would have to pay for their expert consultants to help me do the coding. I was very happy to do this. I was assured that I was being placed with an expert who answered my questions and help me customize my Pipeline CRM to meet my needs. After several sessions and about $1000 in expenses I didnt have my questions answered or my needs addressed. I was expedited back to the same person who gave me the initial consultation. There was a short conference call with people from England and it was determined (in only a few minutes that they could not help me). The person who gave me the initial consultation never really listened to what I had to say and didnt really care. When I asked him about this after the fact he told me that I was a small business and he couldnt give me any more time. I noticed that the folks in England were able to figure it out in minutes because they cared enough to listen and he didn't do that even with his 30 consultation. My $1000 was not refunded and even worse they wasted my time. This is a business that hasn't figured out what to do.
Pros
I liked that Pipeline was confident that they could meet my needs when they first spoke with me.
Cons
They failed to listen to my needs until after they had consumed $1000 in expert consultant fees with zero results.

Automates everything!
Pros
I like that you can set up your pipelines to track literally every facet of your business! We have them set up for employee tracking along with growing our business!
Cons
If you accidentally drop people into the wrong column it will send them messages (depending on how you set it up) about the wrong thing and it sometimes duplicates opportunities for each contact and I don’t know why.

I use Pipeline CRM to keep track of my sales leads and manage customer relationships - it's...
Pros
Pipeline CRM has a user-friendly interface and great customization options that make managing my leads a breeze.
Cons
I wish Pipeline CRM had more integration options with other software tools, as it would streamline my workflow even further.

Sales in our office is all about Volume
The program is really not completely intuitive. This has not hurt us as our questions get answered whenever they arise by their support team. We are more successful with our business because of this program.
Pros
It could not be easier to load prospects. We signed up for a library card online. We select the type of businesses we want to pursue. We download spreadsheets of demographic information related to them. We upload those spreadsheets and start calling.
Cons
I am certain that there are programs that provide more management tools. We simply are not that sophisticated with our sales efforts. If it is simply volume you seek, this is the right product. If you are looking for less effort and more management, pick again.

Its not Salesforce, but it also won't bankrupt your small business
Overall, this was the solution my company needed. We had used Salesforce long before I was on staff, and it was too costly to keep using. When I was onboarded there was no CRM being used, and that had to change. Pipeline Deals gave us all the functionality we needed at a much much lower cost and barrier to entry.
Highly recommended.
Pros
This is a very powerful CRM solution. As I was looking for solutions I came across quite a few that were reviewed by many sites. Pipeline Deals consistently was in the top tier of CRMs for SMB companies.
I watched a few online demos and reviews before reaching out to their team. I was quickly assigned a representative that walked my team through a live demo and set us up with a POC trial. After our trial ended we signed up and were off. Setting up Pipeline Deals was quite easy, as the software can conform to your needs. Almost all fields are fully customizable, however this did take some getting used to, to see how changes were reflected as a whole in pipeline view.
Overall, great product for a lot less than what Salesforce, Salesloft of Hubspot might run you.
Cons
As a smaller company some of the integrations that other CRMs have were either missing or lacking. However, Pipeline Deals is getting better about innovation. One of my favorite shortcuts they rolled out was a LinkedIn plugin, this allowed for you to connect with somebody on linkedIn and in one click import them into your CRM. However, many times it would populate the fields with incorrect info or just generic info like where their company was headquartered instead of where that employee was actually located.
Additionally, at times the APIs for some of these newer services would change, and then the features would not work.

Great for Small Business Sales Teams
My company has used Pipeline Deals since around the time they started. We were a very early customer. I started with one sales person and have moved up to about 10 today. The system works great for this size sales team. It's not cumbersome to use as a central system for a small team to stay organized. I highly recommend it to anyone with a sales force in that range. I can't speak to it's scale above that as its my experience up to 10 active reps.
They have taken what was a massive set of things reps would need to do in some of the other online systems (lets call it OVERKILL) and boiled it down to activity, opportunities, and centralized performance measurement. Its got all the bells and whistles you need... while not overwhelming you (as the sales manager/owner) or your reps with tons of required extras that clutter their ability to move fast and keep selling.
Pros
The BEST small biz sales relationship management tool we've used (7+ years now every single day)
Very intuitive interface.
Amazingly powerful API (if you want to code connect it to your own systems)
Great customer support team (you talk to real people, in the real office)
Extremely powerful list filtering and saved reports tools
Constantly adding new features and enhancements to make it more powerful without more "clutter"
Cons
The actual "finished" reporting built-in for sales performance, historicals, trending, etc is lacking quite a bit as far as "management" type reporting goes [its almost all list based reports, no roll ups, etc... you can see everything, but its not presented in any customized executive way, reason I think it works well for smaller teams. But without better aggregation, I dont think it would be fun to manage 25+ reps on something like this]. (It can be done with outside graphing and custom tools using their API but not everyone can do that). Real-Time, Customizable, Formatted Reporting for "summary/trend management" would make this thing a 10 out of 10 !

Nice tool to use
Only during the covid year, I did use it to help the sales team for lead gen.
Pros
I liked the way it was pretty easy to find who I was looking for in the data base.
Cons
Since it is not really part of my job to use a CRM, I have not used all the features, and maybe not at their best potential. But it was not always easy to understand all the given features.

Pipeline deals for post sales CRM
Our company uses Pipeline deals for Post sales CRM. We have a lengthy post sales process which includes customer installation of our hardware, online training for customers, subscription renewals with customers and warranty follow ups with clients.
In order for us to make our product successful for each customer, it is very important that our team proactively reaches out to the customers regularly to help them out with our product. With each customer attended properly, it results in subscription renewals and product success. Pipeline deals made it an easy task for us. We can schedule our follow ups and add activities in the activities tab every time an interaction takes place. We can also add our custom options and update them on pipeline deals (e.g warranty dates, training status, customer satisfaction level etc). It is easy to see which customers need to renew each month by applying filters.
Pros
-The ability to create custom filters and tabs and then search for customers depending on those.
-Ability to quickly add activities and then review status or import the entire thing to an excel sheet.
-The support has been very helpful. When setting up our helpdesk on Freshdek, we needed all our deals and data organized for us. Pipeline deals support helped us on getting the data in the right format and at the right time.
Cons
Our helpdesk is running via freshdesk. We are unable to link freshdesk tickets to our deals on pipeline deals.

Newer User
Overall, it's not a bad system and very helpful for following up on sales activities--essential to the job. It's a very good, basic system. I had previously been trained on salesforce from prior employment, so am accustomed to more efficiency. I loved their charts and graphs, as well as the funnel for production and donut showing levels of call activity. (I like more visuals) Perhaps you have more capability than I am aware of, as I'm not sure I am as well trained as I need to be. I wish there was a tutorial that walked a new user through how to use ALL the features in stages; beginner, intermediate and experienced so that I know I am taking advantage of all that this system has to offer.
Pros
I do like that it allows me to set tasks and follow updates, as well as appointments. Also that this activity transfers to a monthly calendar so at a glance I can tell if I'm on target for activity and quickly project what my signings should be based on activities. Creating my own reports is a real aid to follow up, especially on hot prospects; thus more efficient.
Cons
Not as efficient as it could be. Duplication of files as well as unnecessary duplication of effort (extra keystrokes) which waste valuable time. (ie: you search for a prospect name and it shows no such person, instead of storing that data, the user has to retype it again to add the person to the database. If I add a new prospect and create tasks and complete in same day, I have to add the task, make my notes than go out to homepage, click on prospects name to than mark the task as completed in order for that task to show up on my calendar page...same for events added and completed in the same day. It works fine if I list taks/events on 1 day and work on them on a later date.

Pretty Good CRM for the money with good customer support
Pipeline Deals is a reasonable CRM. I've used SalesForce, Hubspot, Insightly, and Zoho. Pipeline Deals rates well with all of the above. I would argue its Deals section is superior to anything else I've tried. On the downside, I believe other CRMs have done a better job with linking the organization with the person globally. E-mail is decent, but there is not a good way to take an incoming mail in from my email client to the contact record. Outgoing email works well and lets me use my mail client so there are not messy third part integrations needed to make my out-bound emails look professional.
Pros
The customer support is good. I like the Deals section. I think it is excellent the way it organizes the sales pipeline.
Cons
The connection between company record, deals record, and individual record. Something seems awkward about it all. The information about the person's company and their names do not always seem linked among these three parts of the database.

Frustrating
Seems it has potential to be a useful tool, however in spite of working with my IT team and PD support countless times - including screen shares, removing & reloading the program, replacing my computer, and much more....in 2.5 years it has never worked as intended. Super frustrating!!!
Pros
There are many aspects that should be excellent, including an intuitive navigation and some really smart features.
Cons
The email sync does not work as intended, and therefore complicates many of the subsequent processes. Additionally there are some automated follow up rules - whether initiated by the system or by a former fellow teammate/user I'm unclear...but - they screw up task lists and are buried and very difficult to uncover.

Great price, desktop version is excellent, app needs some work
It's been very positive. I started using Pipeline Deals individually, then my company went to it as a whole when seeing the benefits.
Pros
It's clearly made by those who know what is needed in a sales process, especially larger deals with multiple contacts. The reports are excellent as is the amount you can customize the information you need to see.
Cons
I don't like the mobile app at all, in fact, it's virtually worthless. Granted, I may need to check the latest updates and see what improvements have been made. I have a lot of time at my PC and the main thing coming to my phone are appointment reminders.

A good "basic" CRM.
Overall it's been pretty good. Your response to emails is non-existent and that's frustrating. Information doesn't always save the fist time you input it so you have to input it a second time quite often. It's a good "basic" CRM. I don't like the fact you buried the "Daily Task List" in with all the Deal info. I liked the task list being sent separately to us so it sticks out and is more visible. Right now it's buried with all the other info and often gets overlooked by the reps.
Pros
1) It's Excel on steroids so if you understand Excel, you can learn this for the most part.
2) It's "customizable" to some degree.
3) You can recover deleted info if somebody accidentally deletes it.
Cons
1) No way to filter out notes by person or department
2) Very difficult to track demos by model number of machine. Have to "trick" the system basically to do it which makes it hard to train.
3) Customer service response via email is non-existent. It's "ok" if you call in though usually.

Ease of Euse
The sales pipeline is visible for all members of the sales team. I can tag members of my team into activities so we are all on the one page.
Pros
user-friendly interface, all members of my team find it easy to navigate around. Functionality is good and support response is excellent. We do not need to consult with a partner we can deal directly with Pipeline which brings down the cost.
Cons
There isn't much I don't like about Pipeline deals. Integration with other applications could be better but it suits our needs.

Newbies Look at PlDs
Excited to know that this tool is part of a continuum that can save time and improve accuracy. Hopeful that layouts will improve to the point that information is easy to find and easy to read.
Pros
Customization Column selections under the "Agenda" tab allows for flexibility in the "look." Very useful when looking at work in cue. "People" tab provides same flexibility and makes it easy to find leads/contacts for various needs: Status, Source, Activity. etc. For the visually oriented reader the "Calendar" is a great organizational tool and contains all the right information in an easy to read format with optional "Month, Week, Day" layouts. Once one distinguishes the difference between "Contact" and"Lead" the power of the link is tremendous time saver. The "Activities" field is flexible and allows for cutting and pasting data from other sources such as emails. Great tool to track past conversations and to document activity. Many other great features: Search tool, report options, and scheduling feature to mention a few.
Cons
The layout in the "Contact Info" box is awkward and unclear. Contact, Owner, Company (Funeral Home) information is interspersed in an illogical way. The layout of data fields under the "Custom fields-other" bar is massive and difficult to navigate when looking for a specific item. It is a jungle of data fields without a clear path. It appears that to learn how to use specific features of this package you have to leave your current page. It would be helpful to have hint/definitions {drop-downs] embedded with critical fields similar to the "Status:" field. Ex: "Type"-Contact does not link to Digicon, Lead links to Digicon. Takes a lot of time to master the basics.

Pipeline Deals Review
I have used Pipeline Deals as my CRM system at two different companies now and find it supports the sales efforts well. For the price it is hard to beat.
Pros
I feel the software is very intuitive and easy to use compared to other CRM systems that are much more complicated. As a salesperson I find it easy to log my contacts, make notes on my progress with that account and schedule follow-up actions.
Cons
I would like to see the reporting module be more robust and flexible.

PLD for the Preneed Funeral Industry
Pros
Helps me organize my schedule and clients
Cons
Doesn’t always integrate easily with our company contract software. My clients “status” is never correct and changes without me making those changes. Wish I could create custom tags specific to my leads. Wish the phones and emails would populate where I want them to when a lead is added in by someone other than myself. Time consuming to have to make those changes

Pros

Overall we are very happy with the change to Pipleline Deals.
Pros
We moved from using ACT for 20 years and by doing the trial for a month and studying the online videos and training we made an easy transition to Pipeline. No Regrets in changing. Out technical staff is also happy as they don't have to worry about our upgrades or weekly syncs. Plus the system has some features we did not have before.
Cons
The biggest issue is the ease of printing. Currently that only means printing labels for mailers /postcards. Of course you can do by doing mail merge with excel and word but it is a little more time consuming than just clicking a menu option to print (and of course learning how to do if not done before).

Great CRM at a great value!
I work for a manufacturers representative company and we love Pipeline Deals. It is easy to use, easy to customize, and works well for a sales organization. We use it for tracking our funnel opportunities as well as planning. The managers use the tool for better assisting the team in helping close key deals. Overall, PLD is a great value!
Pros
Great iPhone app. The desktop app is easy to use and easy to customize.
Cons
No major cons. A few key features inside the software, such as business card scanning and possibly mapping a route for salespeople, would be great but would only extend the value of PLD.
