One of the best decisions we have made
A great way to connect with our church family for a low investment. It solved so many of our communications problems, and they continually work to improve their product. Love them!
Pros
Aware3 has great customer service, is constantly improving the app, and has already provided an app that is very conformable to your church's needs.
We love the adaptability of the app and are very happy with the financial side as well.
It integrates perfectly with our CCB and we have high utilization in our congregation.

I love Aware3's product.
As I said before, this product allows for great networking and giving possibilities that our small org would otherwise not be able to afford.
Pros
It definitely allows a small org. like us to have a robust app and giving platform that helps us grow!
Cons
I wish the giving platform allowed for pages that take away all fund giving and campus giving options depending on the application of the giving. For instance, on our website, if we're looking to take in money for a specific program, it would be great to have the functionality to send them to a page that only allows them to give to that particular fund. Also, I wish there was functionality for admins to not only cancel recurring payments, but to also switch which fund individuals are giving to in case of a mistake or because of an update to a fund name.

Good technology but limited because of outside factors
Looks good and give you an app presence on smart phones without paying a ton of money.
Pros
The different options we have to use it for is great. Payments, calendar, notes, etc. All of that is great.
Cons
Our main reason for getting an app was so that we could have people listen to our sermons via the app easily. However, because of how it syncs from iTunes and because that takes over a week to do, no one actually uses it because the sermons are always out of date and not available when people need them.

The Aware3 mobile app has been well received in our church and the adoption rate is very high.
It's been an important part of crafting a great Sunday Morning experience for our church members and visitors.
Pros
The software is highly configurable. We are able to orchestrate just the experience we want for visitors and regular attenders. We have a high adoption rate for taking sermon notes, giving and accessing the event calendar through the app. We've also found the people at Aware3 to be highly responsive if we've had a question.
Cons
There are a couple of pieces of functionality that we'd like to see in the software that are yet to be implemented and not certain if they are even on the drawing board yet.

Moved us ahead
Pros
This app has given us a whole different "face" and connection to our congregation. It brings much of our information in one concise location. This gives those who are part of Father's House a clean and clear central location to access and engage with the Father's House. It also gives a great place for registering for activities and events and for participating in financial giving.
Cons
Has been a little bit of a learning curve to be able to post to the app. However, it is not as complex as earlier software attempts.

Aware3 was easy to implement and has been an excellent addition to our communication channels.
The software helps us to stay connected to our members and improve attendance at our events.
Pros
Very easy to use and self-manage, but when support is needed, the team is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. They are constantly updating and enhancing features that are relevant and support our objectives. We cannot say enough about the incredible service we receive.
Cons
The only thing we'd love to see that is not available today is an embedded click to call and a different way to add our podcast feed. We currently use a Soundcloud workaround to solve both issues but it is not ideal.

We've had a great experience with Aware3
Pros
It's pretty easy to manage. We love the notifications and the Sermon Notes are used weekly. We also like that you have some flexibility to change the look and feel of the app with different buttons and icons if so desired. The Aware3 is also really responsive to user needs.
Cons
I wish that the sermon notes would automatically transfer to the Feature Hub. It's a small thing but sometimes I forget to do it in both. This is also the same with our Announcements. Wold be nice to have a bit of better integration with CCB as far as forms and profiles

Could be so much more
The customer service is always great, and up until this point it has done everything we needed, but we haven't used it to it's fullest because of the functionality on the back end.
Pros
It does everything I need it to do, especially in the area of connecting with our CMS.
Cons
I wish they made it easier for the end user on the back end who needs to use it. I would like for my team to be able to publish and post things to the app by themselves but the technology is a bit tricky for laymen. It's too hard to use so they don't use it (for push notifications).

Intuitive, Outstanding Customer Service
Having an app with Aware 3 has given us an additional channel for immediate communications with our church (via "pushes"), an additional way to sign people up for events, and a means for our members to give their contributions.
Pros
I have been using Aware3 for over two years as the app software for our church. I couldn't be happier with this software. As someone who has no background in coding or program development, I find the software easy to use and intuitive in terms of its layout. I am able to easily make edits to our app and they are live instantly. On occasion, when I run into something I am not sure about, I have contacted customer service. This is always done through chat or email but the response time is excellent, usually on the same day I send my inquiry. The replies I get are complete and easy to understand. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Aware3 and would definitely recommend them to others.
Cons
The only thing we have had trouble with is the calendar feature. For some reason event updates did not always show up in the expected amount of time. However, I was able to work around this by providing a link to the calendar we use on our website. This too was very easy to implement.

Aware3 app for CP
Pros
It was great that we could design the app to match with our existing logos and look. It's easy to navigate and use the different buttons (forms, calendar, listen to podcasts, watch videos, etc.).
Cons
The first time you give using the app, you determine how you give (credit card or checking). It's nice that it automatically fills that in on the second use, but is difficult to switch if you don't want to give using the same method later on. And, for some reason, our "Give" button isn't even showing up right now; instead, I have two "Listen" buttons. ??

Church App makes a difference
We have been able to connect our church with podcasts, notifications, and our social media presence through this app. In addition, our electronic giving is facilitated through this app. The Aware 3 staff is always seeking new innovations to their software and features. We are thrilled with our decision to make Aware 3 as our app host.
Pros
Aware 3's versatility and ability to integrate with other software makes this church app a winner. It is extremely user friendly and is a great tool for churches to connect with and communicate with their congregations.
Cons
There are no drawbacks using the Aware 3 app from our perspective. We have not found a single thing to complain about!

Excellent church app!
Especially like giving through the app, and many people regularly use this feature. It's also our primary hub for event registrations and for that reason keeps members engaged on a regular basis.
Pros
Versatility and adaptability for all of our particular needs. Because they have served a number of other churches and nonprofits, they are well versed in the kinds of things churches need in order to connect with their members, keep them engaged and informed. Extremely helpful customer service staff, which for me is a top priority. This is especially critical whenever a technical issue has had to be addressed, and has always been done expediently and with a positive spirit.

Setting everything up and understanding all of the various features.

We shopped around
Our transition to Aware3 was seamless and everyone we encountered on the Aware3 team was helpful, quick to respond, and really pleasant.
Pros
Very easy to add new features, link to our website, etc. I love that I can post events to our website and have it automatically show up on our app. (Before switching to Aware3 we had to upload these things separately and something would get forgotten without fail.) It's also very useful that it ties directly to our CCB account so that signup forms are always available on the app.
Cons
It took me awhile to get the hang of graphics. The library of graphics can't be edited.

Aware continues to improve it's software. We are very pleased with the continual progress.
Pros
Very simple to use and provides all basic elements well. Always receiving updates of improvements that are made and simple tutorials to learn the process.
Cons
There are a few unusual approaches to some steps, but Aware is open to make changes. You can count on them to look into suggestions and make some serious improvements.

Great at making your audience Aware.
This was a great step for us to have our own app. Wthout Aware3 we would not have been able to afford to provide our guests with such great information.
Pros
With Aware3 i am able to keep all of our guests informed whether they are on campus or at home. It has so many options that we use it to show our customers every part of our business offerings from food to calendar to recreational options.
Cons
I would like this much more if everything was more WYSIWYG format. They have made many improvements over time but still feel like DOS in some places.

Easy to setup and use for small congregation
The only challenge we have faced is the need to create an Apple App developer account in order to update the app. This was not originally the case when we started with Aware 3
Pros
Ease of use, customization, functionality, easily incorporates on-line giving.

Some functions (text push) require additional fees.

Worked well for us for a time
At this point, we're not solving many problems by using Aware3, unfortunately.
Pros
We originally chose Aware3 because the app product they were offering synced up really well with our donor management software. For a few years, the app worked well for us and our organization. Then they started to pull back on some features and make changes that made it not as compatible with our donor software which was frustrating. Their customer service is fantastic and I've always heard right back from their team.
Cons
As I mentioned above, over time Aware3 cut back on features that originally drew us to them as a company. Since we use Aware3 because of their link to our donor management system and the fact that they don't have as much compatibility anymore, we're going to discontinue using them once our contract is done.

App platform was exactly what we needed to share mobile media content with our congregation.
Pros
The App was easy to setup and the content management system was a great platform to push out our media content to our congregation. The dashboard is a great tool to show basic usage stats as well as online giving totals. Giving reports show details and integrates with our church managment system (CCB).
Cons
We've had few issues with matching online giving with CCB profiles, but support at Aware3 has always been helpful.

LOVE Aware3!!
AWARE3 gives us more point of contact with our customers in a way that speaks to them (through their phones). We can also see solid reporting so we know how they are using our App, and how many people have the App and are consistently using it.
Pros
Aware3 is easy to use and helped us get an App into production and available to our customers in a very short time period. Also maintaining the App is simple, and making minor changes is also simple, The interface can easily be done by people who are not technically trained.
Cons
We love everything about AWARE3. It has really done way more than what we were looking for, and the product continues to add features well before we are looking for them!

The experience has been great!
Pros
The easy to use and assemble interface makes it easy to go from zero to ready in no time. The app is also constantly updated and the new features are always welcome.
Cons
As with most church-related app vendors, I find it a bit overpriced. As a software engineer it's difficult to justify hosting prices that most vendors charge. Aware3 is a bit more affordable than others and we use it for the overall cost/benefits.
