# Kitchain

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.co.nz/software/566292/Kitchain

> Six things decide whether a delivery listing earns money, and a merchant portal shows you none of them the way a customer sees them: whether the location can be ordered from, what it is rated, whether the promotion is visible, what the menu and prices actually say, where the brand ranks in the app's own search, and how far the delivery zone reaches.

Each one fails quietly. A branch stops taking orders at eight on a Friday. A rating slips half a point over a month. A campaign runs everywhere except three sites. A price drifts on one platform. The brand falls off the first screen in half a city. A delivery zone narrows and nobody is told. Nothing breaks, and the cost turns up later as a soft week nobody can explain.

Kitchain exists for the person accountable for all six and able to see none of them. Typically an operations director, a head of delivery or a franchise manager running the same brand across twenty, fifty or two hundred locations on several marketplaces at once.

What makes it different

Most delivery tools read the merchant's own portal or API. They report what your systems sent and what the marketplace accepted. Kitchain reads the public storefront instead, the same page a customer opens on their phone.

That distinction matters on the days it goes wrong. The portal can show a store as open while the app shows it closed. An integration can confirm a promotion was accepted while three branches never render it. A menu can publish successfully with items missing from what the customer is served. Anything that checks the sending side reports success in all three cases.

What you get for each of the six

Availability with start and end times, frequency by hour and day, and the trading hours lost. Ratings per location per platform, daily, with declines flagged before they settle. Promotions checked branch by branch down to item level, naming the branches where the offer never appeared. Menus and prices compared item by item against what you published, including price spread across the network. Search position measured from real points across a city rather than a single query. Delivery zones and quoted times as a customer is shown them, including zones that narrow without notice.

How it reaches you

Alerts arrive on WhatsApp, email or Telegram, each naming the branch and the platform, so nobody has to work out which of forty stores it means. The dashboard holds the history behind the alert: how often it happened, at what hours, and what it cost. Data can be exported into your own reporting.

Setup and support

There is no integration and no hardware. You add a location with its marketplace link or store ID, and it starts reporting in about ten minutes. Nothing is installed in the kitchen, nothing runs on a tablet, and Kitchain never touches your point of sale or your marketplace credentials.

Onboarding is done with you rather than handed over as a manual. You get a named contact, and the team configures the first alerts around the hours your sites actually trade rather than a default schedule.

Who it is not for

Kitchain does not take orders, push menus, reopen stores or replace a point of sale. If you need order routing or menu publishing, this is not that product. It is the layer that checks whether what you published is what your customer is being served.
