Great Service

Wellness Living Review
Very poor, if a zero-star review was possible that is what i would give. It is very unfortunate when in a customer service-based situation, that the customer has to put in as much work as you do with WellnessLiving. The cost of the subscription does not relate well to the service you receive. In every situation I have ever experienced with wellness living, I have had to call back every single time I was told I would be contacted about important matters, and when I mentioned the times it would work to be contacted, those were rarely respected.
Pros
At face value, it looks like wellness living has all of the services that would make up a great company
Cons
- Very poor inter-company communication
- support workers promise things they can't actually promise
- Inconsistency between merchant teams and support workers in terms of action and communication
- there is always a chain of command problem, every issue needs to a "managers review", no employee you talk to on the phone seems to have the authority to tell you anything or do much for you other than tech support.
- Very difficult to communicate via english with anyone that i get connected with through the company (i believe this is where most of the errors and breakdowns occur)
- Severely overpriced considering other options out there (the subscription costs are very high, currently saving over $1000 a month with new system and software that includes app, website, backend software for client data etc.)
- Issues and concerns do not get dealt with in a timely manner, call at inconvenient times no matter how often you tell support workers your schedule (speaking as a business owner wearing every hat of the business)

Good software, but beware the processor, Paragon.
We've had our issues with them, but have found work arounds. The way they do financials is a bit frustrating. (e.g. if a members dues of $20 doesn't go through 2 times and clears the 3rd time it'll show a total of $60 and not $20)
Pros
The product does everything you need it to do without having to pay for features like mailing members. There's a small cost for texting members. It's easy to let members signed up for a class know of any changes.
Cons
The biggest detractor is their processor, Paragon. They treat debit cards the same as credit cards even though it's against Federal regulations (The Durban amendment). With the software I find it odd that a member on a month to month membership has to have an end date for their membership. The only time there's an end date is when they decide to cancel.

I can't say enough good things about WellnessLiving! The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it a breeze for both business owners and customers. Wellness Living allows me to spend more time with my staff and students.
I've used Wellness Living for my swim school since 2016 and recommend it to every business similar to mine that I come across. My must haves to switch from the other wellness type platform were 1. Customer Service, 2. the ability to have family profiles 3. all inclusive functions such as email, mobile app, financial reports, POS and scheduling. Wellness Living does it all and helped me automate many parts of my business so I can spend more time with my staff and students all while providing quality customer service.

I am still experiencing an amazing journey with the company, I hope we grow together. I was first given a recommendation for wellness living from a total stranger at a fitness convention. she told me how happy she was and I should check the company out. I feel I have people who care about me in my pocket.

As a brand new business starting, I was guided so professionally from the beginning team at Wellness living to the present. What I like most is that their communication with me is always there if a problem arises when you need help setting up.
Cons
The company did not know what Venmo was. However, once I discussed how important it was for my website we discussed the problem and it got resolved.

Wellness living review
Overall we find excellent features in the product and it makes running a busy business much more autonomous. It gives are users far more options and choice because of this.
Pros
The features suited my business needs 95% and it was cheaper than my previous package which did similar things.
Cons
Costs rose after the first year and bespoke items like the mobile app increased by a lot. It felt like these static products were being hiked in price for very few feature additions. We ended up cancelling the bespoke app due to the price rises and actually found not many of our users utilised it.

Find another system! this review is from a user of 8 (long) years with WL
they are not the best software and we have tried to love them tried to give them time to fix the issues (8 years long enough, you think?), but they are slow moving to fix things and fast moving to add upgrades that are untested and don't work when you try to implement them anyway.
You have to pay for services you don't use nor plan to ever use and you cannot trust that any part of their system will work on any given day. its hugely unreliable.
Sometimes appointments show up as paid and sometimes they don't. Sometimes you can send an email and sometimes you can't. Some days everyone gets their texts and the next day the same students don't. sometimes the classes are deducted from the pass and sometimes they aren't.
The worst is when you call support they act like your issue is false and that it's not happening on their end and the system is perfect.
oh-but since you are experiencing an issue (they don't believe is happening) here is a time consuming and confusing workaround to use. They will never fix the issue. and if they do, trust me the fix is temporary! it will be messed up on the next update.
we hold our breaths (that's actually funny when you teach yoga) when WL says hey- update coming! we are like OH NO, whats going to go wrong this time?
and how many hours will we have to use to fix it, workaround it and convince support hi, there is a major issue with the system...again.
I am writing this review right now because there was another update last Tuesday and a patch fix today and I needed to send out a timed email at noon today, and the system wouldn't even give me the option to send an email at all today.
LOL , my partner was like, well what did you expect? and I was like but the email looked so nice, too bad no one will ever see it. :(
and I don't want another business to go through what we have been through. Life is too short to use a software that works only when it feels like working. find something else.
But if you like troubleshooting and that makes you happy, then this is your best bet for that - you will be very busy! LOL

I like that I can take care of class passes, appointments. and sometimes it works, when it works its great, when it doesn't-well, the rest of the story is later.
Cons
emails don't work when you need them, updates are not tested at all and cause huge issue upon release. Sales reports are consistently a few dollars off. depends if are you using 2 different computers, different browsers maybe a phone...
we crack up. I always ask my partner can you give me the approximate sales today? Its never accurate, ever. Sales tax report is no longer accurate. it was for a couple of years, but the latest update changed that too.
Merging duplicate clients and the ability to keep a current client data base is impossible. Updated clients is the heart of a small business. and our poor little biz heart is totally outdated.
1/3 of our client list is outdated because WL won't update their merging system. you must pray (if you pray) that your future clients have never used WL elsewhere in their past..
that old account will be a forever account even if the client WANTS you to update their info. you can't. you will either have duplicate clients or outdated lists. its your choice which style of confusing client lists you prefer. at least WL gives you a choice there, LOL.

Avoid at all costs. Horrific.
An absolute nightmare. Every single time there was an issue or a bug in the software I would have to spend days/weeks working around to have it fixed. Not to mention it’s just a big data mining company. It’s not at all easy for people to sign up for things- they have to create accounts and input all kinds of info to register for anything!!

Absolutely nothing. It’s lipstick on a pig. Software that looks good and is complete garbage. With absolutely ZERO actual support. Takes over a week min to get someone on the phone or deal with issues.

It’s hard to say when it’s all terrible.

Endless Possibilities with Wellness Living Software for Studios
The onboarding process was fabulous! My dedicated specialist would find the answers to any questions I had. I also utilize the "help line" quite often and I'm always surprised by the quick response and level of concern from the agents who are on call.
Pros
The ability to create classes, events, and appointments for my new yoga studio is the part of the software that I use the most. My clients can easily choose from purchase options and book a class from their phone or computer. I also enjoy the varying degree of permissions I can allow for instructors and future employees.
Cons
When I create an Event, it seems like there are too many settings on the event set up page, and then the purchase option ticket that has to be created to go along with the event. Especially the purchasing rules and use of the early bird discount. Also, the Elevate Staff App does not always refresh class count numbers without a manual refresh from the instructors.

A Solution for Music Schools
Pros
I like the reports that you can generate to give you the performance of classes, events, and appointments. I also like the easy membership auto-renewal features. The ability to set permission levels for users is another wonderful feature.
Cons
WellnessLiving can be technical when navigating the platform however, they have excellent technical support who will walk you through step by step. Their online knowledge base is full of helpful information and solutions.

Love this company and their services!
We moved to Wellness Living to save money. They have been very cost-effective.
Pros
SO easy to use and they're always updating the system.
Cons
Every time I find something I'm not that fond of.. they release an update that fixes it. Right now, I'd say my only complaint is how hard it is how Customer service is handled. It seems like every email is replied by a different person. It'd be nice to feel like I have an account manager who takes care of me specifically.

Please save your time
Service goes out completely. It happened four days ago and the only information I get is when I contact them, they keep reeling me to wait. The software is not user friendly, functions and setting change out of nowhere, so hard to navigate, sometimes you have to use the app because the desktop version is so hard to use. There is so much more

Wellness Living sets a new standard in the Customer Relation Management business
As previous stated, please take a look at the Pros
Pros
From pricing to onboarding (data migration) to implementation to support the WL platform is hands down the best system on the market. Any business owner would be a fool not to take a look at their offering. After 5 years, they continue to be the standard by which I gauge any other CRM platforms that try to win my business and network.
Cons
Recently speaking it is becoming difficult to get support on the phone. This is a first in the 5+ years that i have been with WL.

I did not like the fact that they have a annual contract each year. Ensure you know that before signing up. I was unaware of this. I thought it was month to month after the first year!

Non tech savvy owner achieves success with Wellness Living!

Wellness Living is extremely easy to use from a set up standpoint. I have been so impressed with the customer services reps as well who are able to find us answers to our questions within 48 hours. As someone who isn't tech savvy, Wellness Living is very easy to set up and use.
Cons
The only thing I wish Wellness Living had a better implementation on was their automated emails. You can send them, but to be able to see the open rates and the individuals who opened them, you can only see it individually and not as a total. We use another email system to help with this.
