# SendPol

> SendPol is a cloud platform that automates outbound e-invoicing over the Peppol network for online stores. Since 1 January 2026, B2B e-invoicing is mandatory in Belgium, and SendPol lets a webshop comply without any technical work: install the plugin for your platform, complete verification, and every order is converted into a UBL invoice and delivered over Peppol.

How it works
Orders and refunds are captured from your store in real time through webhooks, and a daily incremental sync re-checks recent orders so no document is missed if a webhook fails. Each order is mapped to a structured UBL 2.1 document that follows the Peppol BIS 3 specification, validated, and transmitted to the recipient's Access Point. Every invoice carries a human-readable PDF embedded inside the UBL file, so the receiver can read it as well as process it.

Access Point included
SendPol acts as your outbound Peppol Access Point. There is no separate contract, certificate management, or middleware to set up. Certificates, validation, SMP participant lookup, transmission, and security infrastructure are handled by the platform. Invoices leave immediately after the order, rather than waiting for an accounting export cycle.

Integrations
Native apps and plugins for WooCommerce/WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Ecwid by Lightspeed, Squarespace, PrestaShop, Magento and Stripe. For custom stacks and ERPs there is a REST API that accepts either a JSON invoice payload or a ready-made UBL file, with webhook callbacks for every status change.

Credit notes
Refunds in the store are automatically converted into Peppol credit notes that reference the original invoice, on WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, Shopify (including partial refunds), and Stripe credit notes.

Control and visibility
A dashboard per store shows every document with its status: processing, sent over Peppol, validation failed, recipient not registered on Peppol, consumer (B2C), test document, or limit reached. Failed documents can be corrected and resent from the dashboard or from inside your store admin. A test mode processes and validates documents end to end without transmitting them, so you can verify a connection safely before going live.

Accounting hand-off
Email and webhook notifications fire on send, validation failure, transmission failure, and non-Peppol recipients, each carrying the UBL file with the embedded PDF, so webshop invoices flow straight into your accounting package as a clean, separately traceable stream.

Compliance and security
UBL 2.1 / Peppol BIS 3 output, mandatory KYC verification per store before live transmission (the Peppol network only admits verified senders), two-factor authentication on your account, encrypted document storage, and role-based access across multiple stores under one account.

Coverage
Documents are processed for buyers with a billing address in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany or Luxembourg. The merchant itself can be based anywhere. Interface, guides and support are available in Dutch, English, French and German.

SendPol is deliberately outbound only. It sends invoices and credit notes; it does not receive inbound Peppol documents.
