QuickBooks Online has no Sales by Rep report, and the migration converter demotes the Desktop REP field to a custom field of initials that is no longer linked to any employee record. Bookkeepers and accounting firms who calculate commissions for client files, and QuickBooks Online small businesses that pay reps off their own invoices. It is deliberately not a sales-leadership platform — there are no rep dashboards and no quota gamification. Sales reps receive a link to their own statement, not a login, and they never see anyone else's numbers.

What it does: connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit's official authorization flow and reads invoices, sales receipts, payments, credit memos, and refund receipts — including the migrated rep custom field. Your plan runs as explicit rules: flat, tiered, per-deal rate lookup, margin-based, quotas and attainment, bonuses, SPIFF windows, splits, pools, manager overrides, caps, and clawbacks, with a payout layer for draws, guarantees, and floors. Each close produces one statement per rep, and the run can end as a journal entry posted back into QuickBooks — commission expense and liability, line-level detail, previewed before anything posts. Statements and CSV or XLSX exports always work, whether or not you ever post.

Getting set up: configure rules directly, answer a guided interview that reads your plan back in plain English, or upload the commission spreadsheet you use today (Excel, ODS, CSV) — its formulas are read, translated into rules, and the translation is proven by replaying your own sheet's numbers before anything goes live.

Why accountants trust the output: every run is replayable. The Replay Auditor takes what you actually paid and diffs it against what the rules say, document by document — drift, duplicate payments, reps missing from the roster, and an honest reason for anything it cannot match. Migration mode verifies that rep attribution survived the Desktop-to-Online conversion before you trust a single statement. One caution worth knowing: rebuilding the old report inside QuickBooks Online custom reports can return tax-inclusive totals where Desktop reported pre-tax, so reconcile before trusting any rebuild.
