Who it's for: operations and human resources managers at companies of roughly 10 to 500 employees, running shift, site or field teams — construction and facilities contractors, retail and franchise groups, clinics and hospitals, hotels, logistics and delivery operators, agencies and offices with a mix of salaried and hourly staff. It suits the business that has outgrown a spreadsheet and a fingerprint machine, but does not want a six-month implementation project or a quote it cannot get without a sales call.

The problem it solves: for most of these companies the month ends the same way. Someone exports punches from a biometric device, someone else keeps the leave register, and a third person retypes both into a payroll spreadsheet. Every disagreement about a late arrival or an unpaid day is settled from memory. PunchInn joins those three jobs into one record — attendance comes in from the device or a location-verified mobile clock-in, approved leave and absences flow into the payroll run, and payslips go out as PDFs by email without anyone assembling them.

What you get: employee records and reporting hierarchy; attendance from biometric terminals (ZKTeco and Hikvision, plus face-recognition units) alongside mobile clock-in that requires GPS, with geofence violation logging and optional office IP restriction; shifts, breaks, late and short-duration tracking with employee-raised correction requests; leave types and allocations with a line manager, department head and human resources approval chain; payroll built on configurable tax slabs, surcharges and pay-item formulas, with loans and salary advances recovered automatically from the payslip; asset and equipment allocation; performance reviews, goals and increment recommendations; and a tracked offboarding flow covering resignation, clearance, asset handover and exit interview. An optional assistant answers routine employee questions in plain language. Employees do their side from the Android app; the iOS app is in development.

What makes it different: the price is published rather than quoted — 3 US dollars per user per month with every module switched on, no base platform fee and no per-feature tiers. Payroll is configuration rather than code, so tax bands, statutory contributions and allowances are settings an administrator changes the day the rules change, and payroll currency is set per company for employers operating in more than one country. And attendance is treated as the foundation rather than an add-on, which is why field and site workers are first-class rather than an edge case. Note that PunchInn calculates and documents payroll; statutory e-filing goes through your normal local process.
