> STREAM is Windows desktop software for teams who work with terrain: surveyors and geomatics engineers, drone and photogrammetry operators, earthworks and infrastructure contractors, and mining and quarry technical staff.&#10;&#10;The problem it solves is a practical one. Survey data has grown far faster than the tools that read it — a single site DEM, orthophoto or LiDAR point cloud can run to several gigabytes. Many desktop packages slow to a crawl on files that size, and the cloud alternatives ask you to upload the survey and pay per analysis. STREAM streams the data out-of-core and draws the terrain on the GPU, so a multi-gigabyte survey opens straight away and stays responsive while you pan, zoom and measure across the whole site. Nothing is uploaded: every calculation runs on your own machine, and the data never leaves it.&#10;&#10;What you get out of it&#10;&#10;Measurement and quantities: cut and fill volumes against the real terrain, a flat design level or a reference surface, shown as a heat map so you can see where the material is rather than just a total. Cross-section cubature with a station-by-station table and DXF section drawings. Stockpile volume and tonnage with a print-ready PDF report. Distance, area, elevation and height differences taken on the ground surface, not on a flat plan.&#10;&#10;Analysis: slope and aspect, viewshed and line of sight, hydrology (flow direction, accumulation, watersheds and ponding), sun and shadow including the shadow cast by surrounding terrain, contour generation at any interval, and change detection between two surveys with a level-of-detection threshold so survey noise is not reported as movement.&#10;&#10;Design: road and corridor design with horizontal alignment, vertical profile, typical section, superelevation, mass haul and a standards check for maximum grade, minimum radius and sight distance. Grading with benched slopes, where you can find the platform elevation at which cut equals fill, set bench height, berm width and batter angle, and compute where the design meets the surveyed ground. Blast pattern design on a surveyed bench, with collar elevations taken from the terrain model and burden relief measured in three dimensions against the free face.&#10;&#10;Why teams choose it&#10;&#10;It fits the data you already have. Import GeoTIFF, LAS/LAZ and DXF; export DXF, CSV, GeoTIFF, Excel, PDF and KMZ. That matters on sites with poor connectivity, and for organisations whose survey data cannot be uploaded to a third party.&#10;&#10;It is one tool, not five.
