# SafeInstinct

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.co.nz/software/559955/SafeInstinct

> SafeInstinct is cybersecurity awareness training built for small and mid-sized teams that need employees to actually change behavior, not just check a compliance box once a year.

Who it's best for: companies of roughly 5 to 500 employees that handle personal or sensitive data, especially in software, financial services, healthcare, legal, and professional services. Typical buyers are IT or security leads, compliance and operations managers, HR, and founders rolling out training company-wide. No security expertise is needed to administer it.

How it works: every module is short and practical (15 to 30 minutes) and focused on the threats employees actually face: phishing, business email compromise and payment fraud, data handling and classification, access and least privilege, and GDPR + CCPA readiness. New modules are added at no extra cost.

What makes it different: the Adaptive Risk-Based plan personalizes training automatically. A lightweight agent reports the apps and browser extensions each employee actually uses, and AI builds each person a training path matched to their real risk profile, adapting as new signals appear. Admins can also generate custom trainings from a simple prompt to match internal policies and tools.

Administration is simple: one dashboard tracks assignments, due dates, completion, and scores, with owner, admin, and employee roles. Rollout takes minutes, not weeks.

Pricing is transparent: from $2.40 per user per month billed annually, with volume discounts at 10, 25, 50, and 100 users and an Enterprise plan for 200+ users. All trainings are included, no add-ons. A free trial is available, and support is provided via email and documentation.

## Reviews

### "SAT Training End Users Want\!" — 5.0/5

> **Sean** | *28 July 2026* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: SafeInstinct's ease of use and transparency in pricing sets it apart from the competition. It is easy to install, setup and manage. There is real value for the money\!
>
> **Cons**: It's SAT Training, so the material can be dry and straightforward. But I prefer that to cheesy training videos in mock scenarios.
>
> Smooth is the best word here... Pick your plan, run your program and receive the value. The end user feels in control of their training and gets right to the needed information. You can focus on the material and not "how do I run the videos while multitasking" like other offerings.

### "Easy to use and gives peace of mind" — 5.0/5

> **Anna** | *29 July 2026* | Consumer Goods | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It's very easy to use and provides helpful information in a clear, organized way. I like that it allows me to stay informed and gives me greater peace of mind when it comes to online safety.
>
> **Cons**: I would like to see even more detailed monitoring features and additional customization options for alerts and reports. The app works well, but there’s still room for more advanced features.
>
> Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience with SafeInstinct. It has been reliable, easy to navigate, and has helped me feel more confident about online safety. The setup was straightforward, and the information provided is useful without being overwhelming. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-use monitoring and safety solution.

### "Fast to deploy, and it gave us our audit evidence" — 5.0/5

> **Cyril** | *29 July 2026* | Internet | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The setup is genuinely fast for a security product. I came in from an infrastructure background expecting the usual enterprise onboarding friction and there was none. The content is short enough that people finish it, which is the part most awareness tools get wrong. It also gave us documented training records that we are using as evidence in our ISO 27001 audit preparation, which saved me building that from scratch.
>
> **Cons**: English only. My team is French-speaking and while everyone gets by, non-native speakers slow down on the written scenarios and I know the material lands less well than it would in their own language. Localisation would remove the main friction I have with it.
>
> We are a small managed services company and had zero formal security awareness training before this. I picked SafeInstinct because I needed something my team would actually complete, not a compliance video nobody watches. Three months in, it does the job. Setup took me three days from signup to the first campaign running, without any vendor hand-holding.

### "Practical training our team actually finished" — 5.0/5

> **Sanem** | *30 July 2026* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It’s straightforward, and that’s the main thing. A lot of security awareness tools bury you in slides nobody finishes. This one doesn’t. The material is clearly written by people who know the subject and the examples line up with situations our team actually runs into.
>
> **Cons**: No mobile app. That’s a bigger deal than it sounds. Employees would go through short modules on a commute if they could.
>
> We needed security awareness training people would actually finish and retain. Ours had turned into a checkbox exercise. This gave us material that holds up, and it strengthened our internal knowledge base along the way.
