# MockXMarket

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.co.nz/software/559935/MockXMarket

> MockXMarket is a classroom trading simulator for teaching investments, trading and market microstructure. One join code covers ten asset classes: stocks, equity options, US Treasuries, FX spot, FX forwards, FX options, equity indices, crypto, commodities and index futures, so instructors can teach the whole syllabus in one tool.

Instructors run live sessions where prices respond to trading, volatility shifts, and AI-generated breaking news moves the market. Scenario Labs turn a case into a fair-start exercise that can be reused across sections, and AI Author drafts a runnable case from a plain-language description. The FX Dealer Desk has students quote two-way prices, answer client requests for quotes and manage inventory against bot dealers. Investing Mode adds semester-long portfolios on real daily closing prices.

Students join from any browser with a code: nothing to install and no IT setup. Every trade and every P\&L figure is computed on the server, so results cannot be tampered with. A cohort risk dashboard, live leaderboard, letter grades and one-click grade export make assessment simple and defensible.

Plans start at $99 per month with a 14-day free trial. One flat fee per instructor; students never pay.
