It has been in clinical use since 2012. It suits a practice that wants its exam lanes to stop depending on one bolted-down Windows PC. Ophthalmologists, optometrists, ophthalmic technicians and orthoptists all run it from the browser on whatever hardware the room already has — a wall-mounted monitor in the main lane, a Mac in the second room, an iPad in an overflow space that was never wired for a chart. Pediatric and binocular-vision caseloads tend to notice the difference first. HOTV, Tumbling E, Landolt C and picture optotypes, crowding bars for amblyopia assessment, Worth 4-Dot and fixation disparity are all included rather than sold as add-ons, and mirror mode makes a short room usable. Because it is browser-based, replacing a computer does not mean a call about licensing. A seat follows the sign-in, not the machine, so a dead workstation is a five-minute problem rather than a support ticket. Support comes from the practice that builds it — email and phone, US-based, included for as long as the subscription is active.
