> BotBye is a bot detection, fraud prevention, and phishing protection platform that secures businesses across websites, apps, and APIs. It detects threats at an early stage and stops attacks before they cause damage — protecting user accounts, business data, revenue, and brand reputation.

The system generates a one-time token for each request through client-side integration via JS Tag or NPM. The token is sent to your backend, which calls BotBye through a server-side SDK (Java, Node.js, Kotlin, PHP, Spring, NestJS, Next.js, Nuxt, or OpenResty). BotBye returns an allow, challenge, or block decision along with specialized scoring: Risk Score for overall threat level, Abuse Score for platform manipulation, ATO Score for account takeover likelihood, and MultiAccount Detection for identifying users behind multiple accounts.

The platform addresses account takeover, brute force attacks, data scraping, API abuse, fake account creation, multi-accounting, form spam, coupon fraud, and account sharing.

BotBye also detects phishing sites impersonating your brand. It identifies HTML clones, reverse proxy attacks that intercept live sessions and bypass MFA, and custom-built fakes. Detection combines active scanning for typosquatted and lookalike domains with passive real-time origin mismatch detection through the existing integration.

Once identified, BotBye responds with automated takedown requests, code-level counter-attacks on attacker pages, blocking of proxied login requests, and flagging compromised users for password resets. Stolen credentials from phishing lead to account takeovers, credential stuffing, and fraud.

The platform includes real-time analytics with IP, ASN, geolocation, browser, and device data, a visitor control dashboard, and a rules engine with custom rules, rate limiting, and custom flows. It is compatible with multi-cloud and multi-CDN environments and uses lightweight SDKs to integrate with existing infrastructure. All detection and scoring features are available on every plan including the free tier, with paid plans starting from $10/mo.
