Not only can reservations be made quickly and easily, but revenue can also be seamlessly tracked from initiation through income recognition. The team at Elite Dynamics is excellent to work with—they listen to their customers and are responsive to feedback. Elite Dynamics has user group meeting, as users have shared ideas and suggestions, Elite Dynamics has adapted and enhanced the software to better meet the needs of their customers, a level of customer-focused development that sets them apart from many other companies. > > **Cons**: Currently, the software includes both a Booking function and a Contract function. Understanding the differences between these two modules is critical and, admittedly, has taken some time to fully grasp. Bookings should be used for vessels, RVs, or caravans that pay upon arrival and do not carry a balance forward. In contrast, the Contract function should be used whenever a customer will carry an outstanding balance or requires multiple billings over time. One important distinction is that the balance owing is associated with the contract itself rather than the customer file. While this can take some adjustment for new users, I understand that future versions may offer different functionality in this area. Once these concepts are understood, the system provides a clear and effective framework for managing reservations, contracts, billing, and revenue tracking. > > Overall, we are extremely pleased with the product, the team, and the implementation process. The transition was remarkably smooth—information was exported from our previous system over a weekend, and by Monday we were live on Elite Dynamics. What makes this particularly impressive is the speed of adoption and implementation. Many software implementations can take years to be fully realized, with some organizations requiring up to three years to achieve full utilization. In contrast, the Port has been using Elite Dynamics for just five months, and the system is already fully implemented and integrated into our operations. The combination of a strong product, responsive support team, and efficient implementation process has made the experience a very positive one.
