I do insurance repair work and I used to come back from a site walk with a phone full of photos and a notepad, then lose half a day at my desk building the scope. Now I dump the photos in, the Bee agent goes through them and pulls out the line items, and I'm reviewing a draft instead of starting from a blank page. Big one for me - it prices in MY rates, not some made up national average. Took a bit to get my rate book in but once it was loaded the quotes come out looking like the ones I'd write myself. Saves me arguing with the numbers. The voice thing is better than I expected too, I just talk while I'm walking the property and it picks up the items. Beats trying to type notes one handed on a roof. > > **Cons**: It's not set and forget - you've got to read through what it gives you, and it does most of its best work off the laptop. > > Look, it's not perfect and the first week I nearly gave up during setup. But once it clicked it's earnt its keep. The time I get back per job adds up fast and my quotes are way more consistent than when I was doing them by hand at 9pm. It's a tool that does the boring grind so I can do the part that needs a brain. Still my call at the end, which is how I want it.
