This is a great feature. > > **Cons**: I feel as though over the years Workday has pushed functionality into Production too soon; in other words many of the features are, in my opinion, at about 80-90% complete. Prime example would be recurring journals. The idea behind this is genius, however the fact that there is no BP for recurring journal templates sort of negates the idea of allowing these journals to post without approvals (which I imagine is what most customers want, myself included). Another example would be amortizing prepaid schedule installments - how many years have customers been asking to have the ability to schedule installments out to a certain DATE instead of 'Accounting Date Days Ahead'? > > I love Workday, I really do. I work hard to show this system off and make our employees fall in love with it. That being said, the last few years have been ROUGH trying to defend this system and company. I couldn't be more thrilled to see \[sensitive content hidden\] out and \[sensitive content hidden\] back in the driver's seat. Workday has deviated far from their core values and the things that made me originally fall in love with this system 6 years ago. STOP messing with the search functionality. Get rid of "simplified search" or allow it to be turned on/off tenant-wide. Why is it when I type in 'start prox', the Start Proxy task is the 7th in the list returned? Things like this happen all the time and cost us all time. Very frustrating. STOP over-complicating your customer support model. This has caused us so many issues and grief over the past 2 years. We have not been able to keep track of all the things - functional review, optimization package, etc etc etc. We start one and months in are told that we selected the wrong thing. So frustrating\! STOP over-engineering Community.
