I don't believe we were given sufficient advise in the beginning. We have since transferred to new account and project managers and things are moving along nicely. The flexibility in the data modeling layer allowed us to take input from different systems that were previously separate. Now management can access the data themselves instead of sending me an ad hoc request, which has significantly reduced the number of requests I receive. > > **Cons**: The initial set up and configuring the cubes took much longer than I anticipated. It is not something you would be able to pass along to a non-technical individual and then walk away from. Additionally – and I know this is a minor complaint – the pricing model for licensing has changed over time, in a way that is frustrating, as things that were included previously are no longer included today. Overall, I find support to be good, however, the amount of time it takes to resolve certain configuration issues has been lengthy. > > Before using this product, all our data was segmented into silos (Demand Planning in one system, Inventory data in another, Finance in their own spreadsheets, etc.). With Logility we are able to use all the information in one place; therefore, we are all working with the same numbers. It seems as though they do no testing of the upgrades before releasing them. I spend numerous hours each week repairing the dashboards that were working perfectly well the previous week. Furthermore, I believe the documentation provided by the company is subpar and written with the intent of describing a completely different software system. > > As a user of Logility I really appreciate the fact that it allows me to access data from various sources and now my boss has stopped asking me questions about the graphs since they appear sufficient enough.
