## Reviews

### "Something for Every Company" — 5.0/5

> **Sara** | *8 August 2025* | Restaurants | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Ease of use for front of house team members, and guests and the many different features that Toast POS has that can be specified to our needs.
>
> **Cons**: Support calls can take a long time to get to the right department and have someone know how to fix the issue.
>
> Overall, my experience with Toast POS has been great. Programming is relatively easy and intuitive to figure out. The reporting features, tip management, and online ordering are just a few of my favorite things about Toast.

### "Good product" — 4.0/5

> **LINDA** | *5 August 2026* | Hospitality | Recommendation rating: 7.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It is really easy to run reports. It was easy to train the users how to do the transactions. I can click on numbers and it will expand to show where they came from.
>
> **Cons**: Today the sales and A/R reports and cash did not tie out. I called and they said it was a known problem that they are getting other calls on and they are working on it. I got an email saying it was done and so I ran the reports again and they still didn't work. I called again and they said I shouldn't have gotten and email; it is not done. So I've done lots of useless work.
>
> The users in the restaurants really like it. It is mostly good for the accounting department with a few minor things I don't like.,

### "Toast is a modern and still growing POS and restaurant management product" — 5.0/5

> **heather** | *28 March 2019* | Restaurants | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Toast allows users to log on to its website to edit menu items, run reports, track punch-in's. In the past, POS systems were loaded into desktops in the back office. It's so refreshing to update, edit, and from anywhere because it's based off a website.

The devices that Toast has selected for installation in the restaurants are modern, slim, and highly functional.
>
> **Cons**: Toast can slow down, which isn't good news when the restaurant is busy.

The sales tracking is still not as robust as I would hope from a product that does so much else so well. For instance, it can be hard to get results on the sales of a menu item for an entire year.
>
> Toast has helped us organize and stay nimble through aggressive company growth. Looking forward to the next period with Toast where we adopt their HR, payroll, and scheduling features.

### "Modern Technology" — 5.0/5

> **Courtney** | *10 June 2026* | Hospitality | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: My favorite thing about Toast POS is the ease of use for the employees. During interviews with potential candidates, as well as casual conversations with current employees - the verdict is clear - Toast is a favorite in our industry\!\!
>
> **Cons**: My least favorite part about Toast is the constant "double charges" that guests see. It appears when guests pay with "tap to pay" it tends to put a hold on the total amount, and then charges them that amount. The hold eventually falls off, but it has been very concerning to our guests.
>
> Overall, Toast is a great, modern software in the hospitality industry. The technology is very modern, surpassing the competitors by a long shot\!

### "Great POS System\!" — 5.0/5

> **Lauren** | *29 April 2026* | Restaurants | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Easy to use, in depth reporting, employee time management and scheduling with sling. Fast support response time. Sales data syncs with our accounting system seamlessly and is highly customizable though xtrachef.
>
> **Cons**: Permission sets for employees can be confusing. We also use xtachef. The xtrachef add on is robust and can be a little counterintuitive
>
> Overall, we have had a great experience with Toast. The program is intuitive and I love the different subscriptions and programs that are available. Troubleshooting is easy. The point of sale is easy to update and the staff likes the interface.
