(Actually, our application was in production using a different vendor's parser before we discovered Affinda. When our contract with the other vendor was coming due, we chose to switch to Affinda rather than renew.) Although Affinda's parsing results were significantly more accurate than our previous vendor, that wasn't the driving factor to make us change. (It would have been a more substantial factor if we did not already have our solution implemented. But we were aware of the vulnerabilities in our previous vendor's capability, and had already incorporated defensive logic into our application to mitigate the other vendor's inaccuracies.) Instead, the driving factor was the Affinda team. The people there are wonderful to work with. They can rapidly roll out changes. Several of my suggestions were reflected in their production product within 2 weeks of when I provided the feedback. > > **Cons**: The documentation isn't as extensive as some of the competition.
