I can read and understand the content three to four times faster than presented. Being bored works counter to learning. Give the unfortunate folks who must take your courses every a year a way to read the slides and go more quickly through what we already know. If you must, require some time be spent on each slide reading the dialog and forcing us to page through. Adult learning research shows that repetition and slow delivery of content actually diminishes learning/remembering content.
