It is a particularly good fit when internet service is unreliable, records must remain on-site, and someone on the team is comfortable managing Windows computers, a local network, updates, and backups.

The system brings together multi-artist scheduling, client profiles and medical history, reference photos, signed release forms, deposits and credits, waiting lists, services in progress, point of sale, gift cards, tips, discounts, refunds, commissions, payroll, time clock, staff permissions, inventory, purchase orders, vendors, barcode scanning, and reporting.

At the front desk, staff can see each artist’s availability, find openings, schedule or reschedule appointments, and follow a client through service and checkout without moving between disconnected tools. Multiple Windows PCs at one location can connect to the main PC that stores the studio’s data.

REV23 Desktop has served tattoo and piercing studios since 2010. REV23 continues to support the product and keep it working with Windows. Support is available by email, with documentation in the REV23 knowledge base.

Desktop is not a cloud service. It runs on Windows PCs connected at the studio, and the studio is responsible for the main computer, local network, updates, and backups. Studios that prefer browser, phone, or tablet access should consider REV23 instead.
