Fantastic but the upgrade is expensive.

I really like Acrobat Reader. On the whole, it's the best reader there is. Unfortunately, for the Pro version, it definitely is on the high end of pricing. There are cheaper alternatives but they just don't work as seamlessly.

Pros

There really is no exact substitute. There's close, but it's never the same or as good.

Cons

For the pro version, it's expensive. If you can live without some of the features, the alternatives are way cheaper.

Simple, Reliable, but Occasionally Cluttered

Overall, Adobe Acrobat Reader is reliable and easy to use for viewing and editing PDFs. It's smooth and efficient, though some extra features can feel unnecessary at times.

Pros

What I love most about Adobe Acrobat Reader is how simple and fast it is to view, annotate, and share PDFs. It’s user-friendly and works seamlessly across devices.

Cons

What I like least about Adobe Acrobat Reader is the occasional bloat from extra features I don’t need, which can slow things down.

Mastering Adobe Acrobat: The Steep Climb for Maximum Utility

Adobe Acrobat is a powerful and reliable tool for handling PDFs. The ability to publish to PDF and still retain much of the correct formatting has been useful, and the additional features such as document signing etc. work really well. While there are many features, this comes with added time to learn the product. The interface isn't daunting, however.

Pros

Converting documents seamlessly while maintaining formatting accuracy is a huge plus. The e-signature and collaboration tools are also very useful.

Cons

The ability to fully edit PDFs would be useful. I would say that this might be a knowledge gap on my part, in which case my dislike would be the transparency towards training.

Adobe Acrobat Reader

I consider Adobe Acrobat the best app to use with any PDF documents. Is easy to create, edit and sign any type of document. Exporting as different types of files is a big advantage when use as you can always provide the needed file type if necessary.

Pros

The feature I use and like the most is digital signing, offers me a fast and secure way to sign any document from any device, is the best option for going paperless with the documents. All the documents are stored in the cloud secured and with easy access from anywhere. As for managing and editing the PDF files Adobe is the best, easy to install the app on any device, PC or smartphone and easy to use as well.

Cons

The thing I don't like is the support, if any problem is encountered the AI bot that they have will not give you any solutions, you need to pass that bot and get to a real person in order to get any proper help.

Adobe advantage or disadvantage?

All in all my overall rating for the product itself is a 100%. If Adobe could lower there price just ab bit it would be a great choice for college students and even younger students. The price is the only disadvantage I found with this platform.

Pros

All of the features are worthy of praise. I love how you can transform a photo or a word doc into a PDF. The editor is as well a nice feature especially if you are working on a project with others. You can edit and send for review for more editing with the addition of adding comments or remarks to aide the changes made.

Cons

The only disadvantage of this product is it is too pricey for me. It is a little bit high in cost which makes it a disadvantage for college students or those who can not afford the rate.

Pros

Cons

The best PDF reader

I love the overall experience of Adobe Acrobat because it is straightforward to share, and there are many useful functions as well.

Pros

I like how we can just copy and paste the PDF link and share it with colleagues. It has many useful editing features and sometimes if I am too lazy to re-export the pdf, I can just edit the pdf itself and do minor edits.

Cons

I am pretty sure there should be an option to change the colour of the comment icon, but it is very subtle to see in my opinion. When someone leaves a comment on the pdf, I click the comment to take me to the commented area, and I find it difficult to distinguish which area I'm looking at.

The standard for PDF reading when consistency and reliability are crucial across platforms

Adobe Acrobat Reader is fundamental for our communication as a company, as it allows for consistency across platforms and media.

Pros

Acrobat Reader comes from Adobe, the inventors of the PDF format. Therefore it is the most widely used PDF reader. The decades of development and refinement allows for consistent rendering of a variety of PDF documents like forms, scanned documents, files exported from other software like Office or Illustrator.
This consistency is key for our marketing and communications department as it allows for predictable results both from documents we send to the print shop or digital communications we send to our clients, regardless of platform.

Cons

The basic version allows for very basic functions compared with the paid version, which allows for more advanced annotation and markup tools.

Something everyone should use!

Overall I would recommend this software for any company to excel in.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat Reader is an essential tool in a hospital setting. Its intuitive interface makes viewing and annotating patient documents simple and efficient. The software handles large files smoothly, and the ability to convert PDFs to other formats helps streamline workflows. With cloud integration, access to important documents is seamless across devices, making it ideal for busy healthcare environments. Highly recommended for healthcare professionals.

Cons

Nothing, I think this a great product for anyone to use for any media related handling.

Adobe Acrobat Reader Makes Things Great

My overall experience with Adobe Acrobat Reader is great for a free software. I wish that some of the best features in the paid version can be integrated in the free version and allow user to gain some performance advantage while using the software's great features.

Pros

What I like most about the Adobe Acrobat Reader is its ability to open and view as many PDF files as you want. It has a number of basic and useful features that you would want from a free software. It allows users to have that capacity to organize files in its respective folders for easy referencing.

Cons

I have been using Adobe Acrobat Reader for more than 10 years now but the least that I like about the software is the confusion that it sometimes cause especially when the software is being updated. Also, the best feature of the Adobe Acrobat Reader can only be found in the full, paid version.

Adobe Review

Its ok for basic stuff, but isnt usable with my automation software. Especially with fillable PDF.

Pros

I like that most features are out of the box. It is very easy to use.

Cons

It would be beneficial to integrate Adobe with other automation software. Easy to use UI or API calls would be great too.

Easy to use gold standard document reader

Adobe acrobat reader is easy to use and really does not have any major problems. There are some minor glitches with the Mac version of Adobe Pro.

Pros

Easy to use and is the standard for reading documents

Cons

Adobes software is very proprietary and does not have really any viable alternatives.

Best pdf and e-signature software

Pros

My favourite use of adobe acrobat is the ability to send out agreements for e-signature without having to sign into another software. Tracking, reminders, and templates can all be managed within the one software.

Cons

There are times when the fields the software scans as available to fill are not accurate to the field type.

Basic is good, Pro is even better!

Overall good, very happy to have a trusted brand for a common task.

Pros

Very easy to access and simple to use. The interface is nice and the buttons are clear for the tools you need!

Cons

The additional costs for additional services is a bit much, but the basic version is alright regardless.

Flexible and easy software to deal with

I believe that Acrobat Reader is the most versatile and user-friendly tool for handling PDFs. Before using it, I often encountered issues working with PDF files. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easier and more efficient way to manage online documentation.

Pros

I really appreciate the possibilities of things i can do with the software. It is possible to do literally everything with the PDF files, from compress to change the font and papers. I have in my work and personal computer and also in my ipad for urgent scenarios and it always has being helpful. Also, the layout it is very intuitive and I automatically understand were to go to do things i want to.

Cons

Not really a specific thing, so far the software has correspond to all of my expectations.

The default choice for PDF viewing and basic tasks

Pros

It is the obvious default choice for viewing and doing basic functions with PDF documents. And it is free!

Cons

The more recent versions have become a little spammy with the interface, when usually the first thing you want with a PDF is to see a clean and simple view. I think Adobe is trying a little too hard to push features most people don't want until they are ready to look for them. Also sometimes they trick you into downloading other bloatware when you get it online, if you don't uncheck that option.
