### "Epically Epic\!" — 4.0/5

> **Tammy** | *27 February 2025* | Insurance | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The consolidation of information and documents for accounts. Having user friendly access to all information in one place.
>
> **Cons**: Even after using daily for over 2 years, There are still so many functions that would probably be useful but i haven had the chance to learn them.
>
> A daily life saver. After 25 years in my industry, (Insurance), it is the most user friendly platform I've used.

### "Applied EPIC" — 5.0/5

> **Laura** | *29 December 2025* | Insurance | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The ability to have a next level of automation. Creating task, digital marketing to clients and client based applications, really brings a new level of customer service.
>
> **Cons**: Downside moving from TAM to EPIC, somethings do feel repetitive. Template setup is cumbersome, loading broker signatures is a process if you aren't super techy. Losing document writer when we went to the web base version was unfortunate. Receipts are unnecessarily long. losing transaction history (albeit it went to an activity) was also a pain point.
>
> So far it's been good. We are not yet using it to it's full potential but it is capable of so much. Definitely more efficient for big business that have in house staff working of configuration. When the broker/manager is also the tech person, the time it takes to create things there are lots left undone.

### "Pro Epic" — 5.0/5

> **Katie** | *26 November 2019* | Insurance | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It is ever evolving. I love that Epic understands what we as users need and what the experience our customer need and want to have. I love that the system has many AUTO features that can work in the background. The fact that I don't have to drag and drop emails in all day is awesome. You send the direct from Epic and the email is automatically attached. I like the text feature. That is not utilized in our office however I do think it is something that can and should be used.
>
> **Cons**: My least favorite thing is also a Pro but some times can be a huge flaw. Cloud based\!\!\! Great for most of the time But.... the moment the internet goes out we are dead in the water and can not answer any calls.
>
> I have been very happy with Epic and its ease of use. Coming from a much older operating system this one is amazing\!\!\! The help that is available by just giving them a call is also fantastic. Applied is great at getting back to you with any issues and offering solutions and fixing the issue.

### "Comprehensive agency system — powerful once you know it" — 4.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *31 October 2025* | Insurance | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Applied Epic has been a strong tool for our agency — it brings client info, policy files, documents, tasks and reporting into one system so things don’t feel scattered. I especially like how activities and reminders are built in (they help keep follow-ups from slipping through). Several users say it improved their efficiency compared to older systems.
>
> **Cons**: There’s definitely a learning curve: the number of features means it takes some time to really feel comfortable and efficient in it. Occasionally processes feel slower or “click-heavy” for simpler tasks. Also, the cost and implementation (especially for smaller brokerages) has been raised as a concern.
>
> Overall I’ve had a good experience with Applied Epic. For a business ready to invest in training and setup, it gives a lot of value and helps centralize workflows. If you’re in a smaller agency or expecting very minimal setup/training, you might find it takes more time upfront to get real benefit.

### "TAM to Epic System Change" — 5.0/5

> **Amanda** | *10 January 2025* | Insurance | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Epic is extremely easy to use, making it the most user friendly system to use. The activities are a huge perk for reminders and tasks.
>
> **Cons**: There are certain points where Epic will continually load, but it is generally resolved within a moment.
>
> Switching from TAM to Epic was a breeze. At first we were very worried with switching systems, but it has been nothing short of the best. It has saved me hours of time daily to produce new business, whilst also auditing myself at the same time.
