> **Pros**: - Migrating to Lariat allowed us to sunset nearly all our ETL focused on building metrics. The entire migration only took half an hour. Now none of our engineers spend time building observability metrics on top of our core data flows (used to 10% of engineering time)
- It was really easy to deploy within our system since it integrates with Athena and Snowflake seamlessly
- Their technology (which cleverly leverages sketches) allows us to quickly aggregate metrics counting distinct values across various dimensions without having to requery the data.
