> Spring Boot is a simple, declarative framework for building Spring-based applications. It makes it easy to get started with Spring, but it also provides production-ready features such as metrics, health checks, and externalized configuration so that you can build robust applications that are configured the way you want them.

Spring Boot allows you to create stand-alone Spring applications without any code generation or XML configuration. It automatically configures Spring and 3rd party libraries whenever possible while still giving you control over how your application is configured and wired together.

## Reviews

### "Easy and Fast" — 5.0/5

> **Serhat** | *19 July 2023* | Banking | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Thanks to Spring Boot, I was able to develop many microservices quickly. I even minimized my time wasted by writing less database code. I can easily determine the settings I will use in the application. Accordingly, I can develop software faster by making the application settings default according to the application type. Also, one of the features I love is not sticking to one IDE. For example, I can create Spring Boot projects in many IDEs such as NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse and Visual Studio Code.
>
> **Cons**: Frankly, there is no feature that I do not like or that I would like to be developed for now. I can say that I like software development more with Spring Boot.
>
> I have developed many web based applications. The build tool I use with Spring Boot is usually the MAVEN repository. The last job I did was a registration form for company employees.

### "Very Good Java Framework" — 4.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *15 January 2023* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: I mostly like the scheduling feature provided by SpringBoot. Using annotations we can simply create a task scheduler. Also, connection to more than one database in a single app is very easy.We can configure role-based permission for all the rest APIs in a project.
>
> **Cons**: The only thing is if a project grows and there are a lot of dependencies then It could cause issues. Otherwise, It fulfills all of my requirements I am using it for years without any issues.
>
> Overall I am happy with SpringBoot. I can quickly and easily create a project and include dependencies as per my requirements. It's very easy and simple to learn coding in SpringBoot.
