> Confluence is the AI-based collaborative workspace designed to help teams create, organize, and leverage information. In today’s fast-paced work environment, organizations are overwhelmed by disconnected tools and scattered content, making it difficult for teams to find what they need and make informed decisions. Confluence addresses this challenge by serving as a central hub where knowledge is not only captured but actively powers work across the company.

With Confluence, teams can create and share content in a variety of formats, including pages, live documents, whiteboards, and databases, enabling seamless collaboration throughout the entire lifecycle of work. The platform’s open-by-default approach breaks down silos, ensuring that information flows freely and is accessible to everyone who needs it, while still allowing for security controls where necessary.

Confluence enables managers to proactively surface relevant knowledge through advanced search and AI-driven recommendations. Teams can stay ahead of the curve, uncover insights, and make smarter decisions. Deep integrations with tools, such as Jira and Loom, as well as a rich ecosystem of third-party apps, connect knowledge directly to the work teams are doing, reducing context switching and streamlining workflows.

Automations and AI agents further enhance productivity by minimizing repetitive tasks and scaling knowledge sharing across the organization. Whether brainstorming on a whiteboard, documenting a project, or aligning work to company goals, Confluence brings teams together to create, iterate, and drive impact.

## Reviews

### "Helpful Collaboration Tool, But Organization Matters" — 4.0/5

> **Michelle** | *23 June 2026* | Civic & Social Organisation | Recommendation rating: 7.0/10
>
> **Pros**: What I like most about Confluence is that it gives people one organized place to keep information, notes, policies, project updates, and shared documents. It helps reduce confusion when multiple people need access to the same information. I also like that it supports collaboration and makes it easier to keep work connected instead of having important details scattered across emails, messages, or separate files.
>
> **Cons**: What I like least about Confluence is that it can feel overwhelming at first. If the workspace is not set up clearly, it can be hard to know where to find things or how information is organized. The learning curve can make it frustrating for everyday users, especially when pages, spaces, permissions, and updates are not explained in plain language.
>
> My overall experience with Confluence is that it is a useful tool for documentation, collaboration, and keeping shared information in one place. It works best when it is organized well and when users are given clear guidance on how to navigate it. I appreciate the purpose of the platform, but I think the user experience could be simpler and more accessible so people can find what they need without extra confusion.

### "Good project documentation software" — 4.0/5

> **Tom** | *25 June 2026* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: What I like most about Confluence is how well it integrates with Jira and Jira Service Management. It makes it much easier to keep documentation, project work, and service-related information connected in one place, which helps reduce duplication and keeps everything more organised. I’ve also been really impressed with the support; when I’ve had issues, the help I’ve received has probably been the best I’ve ever experienced from a software provider.
>
> **Cons**: What I like least about Confluence is that the administration side is not always as intuitive as it could be. Some settings and configuration options can take a bit of digging to understand, especially when managing spaces, permissions, or wider system settings. At times, it also feels like product changes move faster than the support documentation, which can make it harder to find up-to-date guidance when trying to resolve an issue or understand a new feature.
>
> Overall, my experience with Confluence has been very positive. I find it a useful and reliable platform, especially because of how well it integrates with Jira and Jira Service Management. It helps bring documentation, project information, and service-related work together in a way that makes day-to-day use much easier. While the administration side can sometimes feel less intuitive, and the support documentation does not always seem to keep pace with product changes, the quality of support I have received has been excellent and has made a real difference when resolving issues.

I feel, with the support we've received from Atlassian, that our subscription is good value for money.

### "Our first choice for internal collaboration on documentation" — 5.0/5

> **Richard** | *22 June 2026* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The addition of Rovo AI is a big plus. It is genuinely useful and saves time and effort on several tasks.
>
> **Cons**: Only a minor thing, but sometimes the formatting/layout of pages can be a little limited. But otherwise, nothing of note.
>
> It does exactly what it needs to do and does it well. Is stable, represents great value for money and has nearly all the features we need/can be easily customised.

### "Amazing place to keep your documentations" — 4.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *27 April 2026* | Banking | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: I liked the options it gives in form of macros that help me create extremely attractive documents for people to read and refer to
>
> **Cons**: Primarily for me it would be how its permissions of spaces and pages is layed out , a little confusing for anyone starting
>
> Great overall and amazing place to document stuffs that are critical for your business . Highly recommend

### "A Life Saver" — 4.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *12 May 2026* | Retail | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Its one of the best Softwares available for documentation. The layout is user friendly. The adaptation of internal AI agent ROVO is the best feature so far. users can directly ask the Bot questions without navigating to the exact path of the documentation. The templates are also a massive time saver, they prevent you from staring at a blank white screen.
>
> **Cons**: There are not many cons that I can think of . The search function sometimes is annoying , producing results that are irrelevant. The permission system is actually a time consuming task for the admin eventhough its important for the internal security of the documentations.
>
> Confluence is an industry-standard documentation tool that makes life easier. I relied massively on the tool when I was a beginner at my company to familiarize myself with the processes. Rovo is changing the entire face of the tool. The company does not have to pay for an internal RAG system, as the company documentation tool itself is incorporating it\!
