The interface is quite intuitive once you take in the information from all of the available learning tools. There is a robust YouTube channel that walks us through step by step on so many processes. And the ones we can't figure out through Youtube, the live tech support is amazing. They have often looked into solving an issue with me multiple ways. I love the set it and forget it aspect of this system. I recognize owners are incredibly diverse in the data they want to look at. But now with the support of AI tools, it would be helpful if we can enter a prompt telling it the data we want and with some guidance, get the exact information we are looking for. My Music Staff was great until we hit the 100 -110 student mark. After that we needed a more robust system. Love that customers can self book - since moving to Opus we have seen a significant increase in trial bookings predominately through the self booking feature. Opus1 is so great for booking group classes and assigning multiple teachers. The dashboard is very helpful for tracking KPIs. We love that staff can communicate with their students through the interface. We use the client notes for lesson notes and the running record not only supports students but is so helpful when substitute teachers are in or a new teacher takes on a student. We are subscribed to Opus Plus and generally like the set up. Opus Plus has good capability but I would not have been able to use it so effectively had I not had experience with other CRMs that came with solid training. If you're new to a CRM like this I would recommend getting support in the set up. We also subscribe to the SMS feature and find it invaluable. It's harder and harder to get people to answer their phones but most are happy to text. When we have needed technical support the response was quick and efficient. > > **Cons**: We are very happy with Opus1 so our dislikes are really nit-picky. I wish that Opus1 supported instrument specific group registrations. The recital planning tools don't work well for our specific circumstances but we have found work arounds in Opus that do the job.
