### "P4C provides valuable tax and accounting services" — 4.0/5

> **Laura M.** | *31 July 2026* | Environmental Services | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It is great to have integrated tax options connected to Foundation software. The support team is knowledgeable in the software and provides support for most concerns that arise.
>
> **Cons**: The integration with accounting via the payroll module causes confusion and reconciliation issues when corrections are made. In addition, the variable sequences for processing can cause a headache if you have not set your system up exactly how it should be. I inherited a system that we have made countless changes to but, I am not surprised when a new "loophole" arises.
>
> Overall, I am pleased with the software and support that P4C provides. They offer a number of webinars and annual introductory level training seminars. It would be nice to have some higher level education available. Especially if it could provide background on how the software is written. Knowing how modules connect and interact would avoid mismatched accounts, missing updates, etc.

### "Payroll 4 Construction has been a great tool for Claystone Construction, Inc." — 5.0/5

> **Denise** | *3 August 2026* | Construction | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: What I liked most about Payroll4Construction was its construction-specific payroll capabilities. It simplified certified payroll, job costing, union payroll, and multi-state payroll processing. The system helped streamline payroll administration while providing the reporting needed for compliance and project tracking.
>
> **Cons**: At times, resolving issues required contacting support, and some requests took longer than expected to be addressed.
>
> Overall, my experience with Payroll4Construction was positive. The software handled the complex payroll requirements of the construction industry well, including certified payroll, job costing, union payroll, and compliance reporting. It helped streamline payroll processing and improved accuracy.

While the system was reliable and met our payroll needs, the user interface could be more intuitive, and some reporting and navigation features could be more flexible and efficient. Overall, it was a dependable solution for construction payroll, and with continued improvements to usability and reporting, it would provide an even better user experience.

### "P4C Foundation Payroll Software Honest Review" — 2.0/5

> **Julie** | *29 July 2026* | Construction | Recommendation rating: 1.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Checks \& Balance process to process weekly payroll is helpful.
Access to generate Certified Payroll Reports.
Customer service will call back timely in emergency, but not for a non-emergency call.
>
> **Cons**: The software is NOT intuitive. Feels like a DOS based payroll software.
Creating employees \& union tables is cumbersome \& easy to make mistakes having multiple screens to access separately for employee retirement options, unions, etc.
Employee clock in/out feature does not round to nearest 15 minute.
Formularies do not always align with other reporting modules (ie. workers comp reports, union reports, etc.)
Customer support is helpful, but sometimes depends on who you're talking to for the resolution.
Reporting is not as customizable as I would like.
The Mobile options is also not intuitive, to add an employee, and not be able to assign the employee to designated areas from one screen is silly. Also our rep that customized our software did it backwards, therefore making it less user friendly.
The employees have a difficult time accessing their pay stubs.
There's no current training tutorials available for different mobile app options.
>
> Overall, P4C Foundation Payroll module is less than fair for the value. The customer support is available at times of an emergency, which is VERY helpful; however, in non-emergency situations, it can take days for a return call. The software functionality is cumbersome, but does get the job done with processing payroll. I would recommend understanding your company's needs and explore all options prior to selecting this software if you're a smaller sized company.

### "Review from a Payroll Perspective" — 3.0/5

> **Courtney** | *16 June 2026* | Construction | Recommendation rating: 6.0/10
>
> **Pros**: I like that P4C handles the taxes for us, as those can be pretty confusing. I appreciate how quickly support gets back to us when we have an urgent issue. I do appreciate supports checks once we submit payroll - there have been a few times they caught some errors for me. I love the employee wage detail report, as well as the timecard history. Those reports have help me tremendously with reporting I have to do.
>
> **Cons**: Sometimes it feels like the answers from support can be not a full effort response. We ran into quite a few problems with our fringe, and had to talk to multiple support people to finally get it figured out. I would like more opportunities for custom reporting, although that is more on the accounting side, payroll reports are pretty good. I was VERY disappointed with our support when we first launched - a ton of stuff was set up incorrectly that we didn't realize until way down the road.
>
> Overall, it has been good. It has simplified our payroll process quite a bit, and it is nice having easy access to support, which we didn't always have with past providers.

### "P4C Review" — 5.0/5

> **Susan** | *3 August 2026* | Construction | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Easy to use with Foundation Software. Value is good in my estimation. I like not having to fille all the tax documents that I used to do myself for about 12 years.
>
> **Cons**: If payroll exceeds limit, it warrants a phone call not just an email that might not get read in time to submit wire. Can't refuse payroll in these cases.
>
> I have had an over very positive experience. Any time I have had issues, I have received a timely response and the help I needed.
