Sage 50 Accounting - Great Value

My overall experience with Sage 50 Accounting was positive as the software met all my needs as well as the reporting needs of the team.

Pros

What I liked most about Sage 50 Accounting was the value the software offered for the cost. The software was able to do all that I required and did not go over budget.

Cons

What I liked least about Sage 50 Accounting at the time was that it did not offer cloud based options for remote access.

Review on Sage 50cloud Accounting

Pros

I enjoy using sage 50cloud because of its very easy to use interface. For accounting, you can perform all basic tasks to enable you prepare a financial report. Also it is built in such a way that there is some form of control to the activities users can perform simultaneously on the application.I recommend it 100%.

Cons

The interface does not have a friendly look so if you are not familiar with it, you may believe it won't be easy to use.

Very basic fragile system

Poor overall and caused more stress than it’s worth, better to invest is a more pricey version and it will save you down time.

Pros

Fit for accounting purposes for very small companies with one user accessing the system, with regular manual backups.

Cons

Corrupts data regularly for small companies especially when trying to use addition features that don’t work very well

A perfect daily routine with Sage 50 Accounting

I have not had any issues with Sage 50 Accounting. You can easily separate your companies and the drop down menu's are easy to navigate along with creating invoices, paying bills, and creating vendors.

Pros

You can get into a great routine using Sage 50 Accounting - once you learn it, the daily usage is very easy.

Cons

This is very minor but it looks dated, like it resembles an excel spreadsheet. It may not look user friendly but once you start using it more, it's very effective.
