No "Jabs" taken at Jabber
I am overall satisfied with Jabber as it allows our organization to work from home/remotely without interruption to our daily business operations. This is a vital component when considering the global transition adoption to remote work as a result of the 2020 pandemic.
Pros
I love the convenience and ease of use with Cisco Jabber. It has all of the features and feel of having a desk phone wherever the app is installed.
Cons
As with any product using VoIP, user experience can vary based on internet connection and speeds.

Software that does what you'd expect it to do
Cisco Jabber will certainly meet the classic need of a company looking for a centralised service for making and receiving calls. However, if you're looking for more advanced functions or higher reliability, you'll have to pass.
Pros
Cicso Jabber is a communication tool that does exactly what you'd expect of it. The calls are clear, the basic functions are easy to learn (even for beginners), the interface is clear and the impact on RAM is almost non-existent.
Cons
Using this service in a claims processing centre, Cisco Jabber was used almost daily. This is where we noticed the limitations of the tool: frequent errors in call transfers, numerous bugs when used intensively in a short space of time, lack of advanced functions (music on hold, definition of call transfer pools in the event of absence, etc.).

Your Small Business Needs This To Run Like A Medium-Sized Enterprise
Pros
My favorite feature about Jabber is how it connects to our CRM and phone systems. Whenever a customer calls in from a phone number saved on their account, their account auto-populates for us in our CRM & we're instantly able to service the customer's needs.
Cons
Nothing. I honestly think every business needs this.

Remote calls
Since Covid, I have been working a hybrid schedule. I have days during the week where I work remote and used this app on my computer frequently to make calls to client's. It's been really useful. I can use it anywhere as long as I have internet.
Pros
You get assigned a number and can easily make calls straight from your computer. This is great if and when you have to work remotely.
Cons
That you have to be connected to internet or WIFI in order to make calls out/receieve them from computer.

Instant Chatting with Jabber
I use it mainly as a quick chat solution for internal situations, but the screen share feature is also a great benefit that has been useful in the past.
Pros
My favorite part of Jabber is the screen sharing functionality. I usually use this feature when the IT help desk is trying to get me out of a digital hole that I've dug. They can show me the steps to follow to complete the task at hand.
Cons
Honestly, the thing I like the least about it is that it runs it's start up sequence automatically whenever I restart my computer. I understand why this needs to happen so that it can run properly, it's just mildly annoying.

Perfect chat platform!
Not a full screen programme like others such as teams so perfect for general communications.

Save time and effort in your meetings
It saved us a lot of effort, time and money in communicating between members of the same team and between the teams in general, and we were limited to a lot of interviews to discuss some important topics and the speed of completion
Pros
Easy to use like any chat application, and facilitates communication between employees and between employees and management as well, and helps in organizing conferences or audio or video meetings as well
Cons
Its great dependence on the Internet may make it an obstacle to some people who are in an area with poor or weak coverage, especially in audio and video conversations, as it is not compatible with some old programs, and this hinders the application of its work in some small companies based on old software

A superb end to end communication tool
Cisco as a vendor has a great reputation in the market and they are one of the market leaders when it comes to communication management. My overall experience has been tremendous and I was very content with the quality of features.
Pros
Cisco Jabber is one of the best communication tool for managing the end to end communication requirements of your organisation. It has got variety of features to assist the users in meeting their collaboration needs. The quality of conferencing is amazingly high and screen sharing works flawlessly.
Cons
One of the features with which I struggled with Cisco Jabber is it's calling functionality. In order to call someone externally, a user will have to understand and know the pre-fix numbers to be added. Without that it will not be possible to dial an external number.

Solid Chat Platform
Pros
I like the accessibility of chatting and collaborating with coworkers.
Cons
I wish that it was easier to integrate with our video meeting platform so that we could chat and video simultaneously.
