> Creo is a 3D CAD software, which helps businesses across many industry verticals including aerospace and defense, automotive, life sciences, oil and gas, retail, consumer goods and more streamline product design and development. Key features include automatic window activation, custom shortcut commands, model tree visibility, charting tools and notifications.

Teams using Creo can create CAD models by applying geometric dimensions through model-based definition (MBD) and detailing capabilities. The generative design tools enable engineers to automatically produce designs by defining a set of system design requirements. Creo Simulation Live allows managers to receive instant feedback on design decisions across their CAD environment. Additionally, Creo Ansys Simulation helps produce high-quality products through automated meshing, modal analysis, finite element modeling idealizations, joints and more.

Creo facilitates additive and subtractive manufacturing by enabling designers to minimize weight using advanced lattice structures and high-speed milling toolpaths. Teams can connect and communicate product information, which helps streamline collaboration across multiple design environments.

## Reviews

### "Creo: Best CAD Tool for Complex Assemblies" — 5.0/5

> **Ronit** | *9 September 2024* | Machinery | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The best thing about Creo Parametric is that it provides rich set of features with the complete depth for all of the modules like Sheet Metal, Part Modelling, Assembly, etc.
>
> **Cons**: Because of having a rich variety of features, it becomes difficult for a new user to learn it easily as compared to other CAD tools like SolidWorks.
>
> The overall experience of using Creo in my day to day professional life is fantastic. It helps me a lot as it has a lot of integrated features like EZ Tolerance Analysis, Creepage and Clearance Analysis, etc.

### "Master of some, not useful in others" — 4.0/5

> **Prashant** | *2 January 2023* | Research | Recommendation rating: 7.0/10
>
> **Pros**: 2D drawing and 3D parametric modelling is very good. Straight-forward modelling and surfacing. Also simulation is easy to use.
>
> **Cons**: But lacks in flexibility. Need more ease of use in modelling. As a designer creo limits my imagination to create something para-metrically.
>
> It handles data management well with the windchill. Overall satisfactory but for the cost I expect more value in terms of features.

### "A stick-shift product in an automatic world..." — 3.0/5

> **Chris** | *14 April 2022* | Design | Recommendation rating: 1.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Flexible modeling, goal seeking, are interesting
>
> **Cons**: This software is not for the new user. Unlike some if its competitors, you need and experienced administrator to make sure the myriad of possible configuration settings conform to you intended use. If you create models, etc... without understanding the configuration, the model can be worthless.
>
> I have used PTC CREO (and other) products that pre-date the CREO name. The software is usable in a controlled environment and with sufficient support resources. Probably best for larger organizations that are also using Windchill PDM.

### "Cero Review" — 4.0/5

> **Siddhant** | *26 December 2022* | Automotive | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The ability of the software to give a wide range of modeling tools to be able to reach a final desired outcome. The software works perfectly in network areas with multiple people working on the same Assembly model at the same time.
>
> **Cons**: The software needs an upgrade on the navigation through all the features it has provided the end user in order to use it with ease.
>
> Core has been an amazing software to use from end to end and has been a great support in the Industry that heavily relies on 3-D modeling.

### "Creo is Best design software" — 5.0/5

> **Rupesh** | *5 September 2022* | Automotive | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: 3d framework is the best part. Sheetmetal, parts, assembly , drafting have different modules. And can work parallely.
>
> **Cons**: Nothing to dislike other than cost. Cost of Creo must be cheaper.
>
> Working on Creo as sheetmetal designer.
