Perfect Business Phone System!!
We absolutely love 8x8 virtual office, we do not see a world where we would switch to a different phone software. If you are looking for a seamless phone software look no further!
Pros
8x8 virtual office is awesome! There are so many cool features to this software. We have used 8x8 for over 5 years now, customer service has always been super helpful if we ever had any issues or questions. Purchasing new phones for new employees is a breeze, and setting everything up is always straight forward! What more can you ask for? We also love that virtual office has the chat feature, we utilize this daily to chat with all of the employees. We also love that there is a app, all of the employees have this app on their phone and have been using it like their desk phone during this COVID work from home time.
Cons
there are sometimes some delays, but very rarely is there any issues!

Effective Communication and Collaboration with 8x8 Work: A Balanced Review
My 8x8 Work Review: The Good & Bad Areas Overall, I am now officially a fan of the service. Using its rich communication tools voice, video and messaging it has strengthened the bond between our team helping us reach a higher productivity level. This ability to personalize has been incredibly advantageous.
But the learning curve was steep to start, and we ran into growing pains such as slow request response times and regular dropout issues. However, there are a few areas that can be enhanced in terms of features gaps.
Despite a couple of challenges that I encountered, 8x8 Work is still packed with useful features. It works but there are even things you can do to make it more efficient. Overall, I would recommend it for the features and a ease of use.
Pros
I needed something that would integrate well with the other applications I use and be relatively easy to figure out, 8x8 Work was exactly what I needed. With an intuitive system for moving tasks and communication between voice, video, message to help people collaborate effectively. Moreover, the customization possibilities enable us to design the platform that suits our strategy and makes it easier for us do more in less time constraints. Other than that, the consistency of its service and their great customer support only made my experience with 8x8 Work more pleasant. This is a system that delivers very good value for money across the board.
Cons
The only con that I can think of in 8x8 Work is the very quick learning curve, it was somewhat hard to get initiated at first but if you stick with it for a week or so then you will be fine. We also faced some performance issues such as slow response time and sometimes connectivity was down. Some of the gaps we found which can be introduced as additional support to Django users. On top of that, there were occasions where we felt customer support wasn't as prompt to reply as we had wanted. All in all, it is a great unified design and I believe that these problem areas could be improved upon.

8x8 Nightmare
Horribly unreliable, inconsistent and no one is responding to our emails. The system its self worked okay without the integration but the inaccurate billing is wild to me.
Pros
The ease of use was all that we appreciated of 8x8.
Cons
- The fact that they could not integrate as they said they could into Litify. - They were double billing us. Charging us yearly and then monthly and then constantly trying to reimburse and then recharge our cc again. - During this time, I was communicating with 8x8 and it was a slow process, and they decided that they should shut our phones off. I called and they turned them back on saying they saw the conversations regarding the charges and that it wont happen again until it is resolved. A week later they shut them off again and told me that I had to pay the whole year off even though they owed me 3k still and we had not ironed out the billing. So they said we had to pay fine. They couldn't take my payment over the phone and it was an absolute joke. Couldn't turn it back on with my money but couldn't take our money. Interesting, right? - They told us they were going to reimburse our 9k that they charged and we have yet to receive the refund even though our rep told us they were going to credit us back. He is now unresponsive to me as well.

Came for price, staying for features
From my first contact with 8x8 I was helped to understand the product and its benefits. Once I signed up 8x8 took care of porting my work number to the system and setting up my personal line and a line for our fax (fax calls to that number are routed to our 800 fax number). I got our automated attendant going well and added a PLT headset I purchased online, but had trouble setting up the fax. 8x8 help jumped in and coached me to complete the setup.
Pros
Price and features, especially Automated Attendant, additional fax line, automatic call forwarding to my cell if I'm away from my desk, and the Caller Popup Window, which enables me to display customer order info on my monitor as soon as the call comes in with minimal effort.
Cons
I'm pretty satisfied but often lose calls when they are transferred to my cell and caller disconnects before I can answer the call.

8x8 is a great upgrade!
Overall my organization is very happy with 8x8. It gets the job done at an affordable price, which is perfect for my small team.
Pros
The text function is gamechanging versus our previous provider. As a nonprofit, it is nice to have the ability to use this as a "personal work" number that people can call/text without having to share my real personal number.
Cons
The most difficult thing about 8x8 is the fact that we cannot text groups. We would love the ability to group program participants into a single message.
