Clockify makes it very easy to categorize and organize projects and tasks, and either track your work in real time or go back and input your time later. The reporting features have been great for helping me communicate time spent on deliverables when I send clients progress reports on projects.

I'm going to sound like I work for them, but I swear to you I don't. I just have not found anything not to like about this software yet.

Clockify has a very great auto-tracker tool that allows me to automatically track my time usage making the process very simple, efficient and less time taking. Clockify is very easy to use and i like how intuitive the user interface is and how neatly the dashboard is organized. It also has a very exceptional reporting tool that help generate detailed time usage reports. More to just time tracking, Clockify has some team scheduling tools that help me and my team to plan and schedule for our work shifts.

Clickify is free for my single person usage, but I would be happy to pay if my business was growing with more team management. Since the introduction of the event calendar and connextion with my google agenda, I track my hours rigourously. it's my favorite feature! I like that clokify is continuing to improve by adding features like that.

Some lags occure from time to time on the app, but it usualy gets resolved quickly. I had no issue on the web version.

I like that we can track Clients, Projects and Tasks and it makes it fairly easy to keep detailed notes, switch between tasks and restart a task you were working on earlier. I also like the detailed reporting so you can see where you are at for the month on particular clients.

I don't like that it's a single line for the details. We keep very detailed notes on some clients' tasks and it makes it hard to read through them, or add to the end of them as you go when they get long. I know you can hover to see the whole thing pop up in a box but that's not always helpful when it appears at the bottom of the screen (like looking at the last entry for the month) because the pop up will go off the screen and you can't see the whole thing. Making it multi-line or expand as it's filled in would be very helpful

Clockify has a manual entry option to add the times worked when you forgot to start the timer. Time fields can also be edited in case you accidentally go over your break hours. I love how the user interface is intuitive, making it easy to track time across different projects. The reporting features are also fantastic, as they provide clear insights into productivity and help with invoicing.

Cons

The drop-down menu for selecting 'manual entry, timer mode, or break' can be a bit cumbersome. It would be nice to have checkboxes or radio buttons instead, as that would make it quicker and more intuitive to switch between modes. This change could streamline the user experience and save time when tracking hours.

What I liked least about Clockify is that when integrating with QuickBooks, it only works with employees set up in QuickBooks, not contractors. This was a big limitation for me since I primarily work with contractors. Another issue is that you can only send hours by project, which might work well if you invoice by project. However, I invoice by resource, listing the hours and costs for each person across all projects, which Clockify doesn't support. Could be a great opportunity to add this feature for those who manage invoicing differently.

I work in a different timezone from my supervisor, and I was asked to set the app to MST. Since then, I keep getting this annoying "Timezone mismatch" notification that I can’t seem to get rid of, no matter what I try.
