## Reviews

### "Business Standard" — 5.0/5

> **Glen** | *27 July 2025* | Religious Institutions | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Easy to deploy, up to touchless with new Intune configuration.
It's still a big industry standard for work as well and with the latest versions of OneDrive, you can sync your employee's important work files so if they have to work at another station or their computer dies, their work isn't gone.
>
> **Cons**: There's time when you really need a Mac or if you don't want to pay for a license you could also go with a flavor of Linux.

I haven't experienced something like a bad patch in so long though I can't speak poorly of that.
>
> Now days, either off the shelf for home or co figured for business with on-prem server or Intune, Windows is still the easiest system to deploy, and for gaming it's still typically a must for the best compatibility with the most games.

### "Perfectly Usable\!\!" — 4.0/5

> **Taher** | *27 May 2025* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Windows 11 is good product and a definite upgrade from Windows 10, it was buggy when released but in 2025 it definitely seems like a polished modern operating system. Compared to the competition, mainly macOs and popular Linux distros, I like the look and feel of windows 11 better. The settings app rework from windows 10 was much needed, the rework of the look and feel as well as the animations was also much needed which got it on par with phones Os's as well as on par with macOs. Compatibility with applications is great and unmatched, as well as unparalleled support for games.
>
> **Cons**: The overhead of windows 11 is huge, which eats into the performance of application or games. In terms with compatibility for hardware windows 11 is not bad, not as bad as MacOs of course, but not as good as windows 10 or Linux. Windows 11 requires TPM 2.0 which renders older PC's unable to upgrade, and since Microsoft is pulling support for Windows 10, it will turn these machines into e-waste. In 2025, there still exists legacy menus in the interface, which are unnecessary and a hassle to use. Sleep wake and power settings are still a collosal mess, sometimes you put a laptop to sleep and after a while find the battery drained, which can be frustrating if you're expecting the opposite. Sleep and wake has been figured out by all other portable devices operating systems in 2025 except Microsoft.
>
> Overall Windows 11 is great operating system, hard to go wrong with it and if you require to use for some compatibility, it is not a pain to use like previous Windows versions, but there are many areas which can be improved substantially. The ARM version is also a great addition.

### "Not ready for prime time, they still fix the broken mess." — 3.0/5

> **Nikolas** | *24 November 2024* | Graphic Design | Recommendation rating: 5.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It looks better ok, but it is noticeable heavier.
>
> **Cons**: It feels like they changed a lot of things for the sake of change and not for something better.
>
> Start menu is worst, taskbar lost a ton of functions that only now (slowly) they add back, right click menu is nice but need to be customizable, printer dialog is bad (in some instances I can't even open printer properties).
The system was getting a lot of lag at some point for virtually no reason (new mid range system with nvme SSD, that is flying).
All in all it feels like a big beta testing OS, I had to format back to W10 till they fix Windows 11.
I will check back in the end of 2024 the state of them, although MS still spam me with ads to move (although I have disabled TPM and as of that the system is not shown as eligible).

### "The New Age Upgrade" — 5.0/5

> **Jasmine** | *14 July 2025* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: I like most about Windows 11 are the easily accessible widgets on the screen and the different layouts to add different tabs too.
>
> **Cons**: What I like least about Windows 11 is the many updates that the system has to update and they are often.
>
> My overall experience with Windows 11 is concise. It makes moving through different tabs a lot easier.

### "overall feedback" — 4.0/5

> **julien** | *10 June 2025* | Automotive | Recommendation rating: 6.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Good look compare to windows 10 easier to use. more intuitive, simplier parameters , more performant
>
> **Cons**: Problem of compatibility with few hardwares like old pc. Too much widgets and softwares installed. Copilot utilisation useless
