Consolidating systems into one with IT Glue
Combining all of our IT documentation that has been saved over the years in personal folders, network share folders and invidvidual application knowledge bases into one go-to location. This saves a ton of time when onboarding new technicians so they don't have to learn where all the varied locations for help.
Pros
The biggest value we have gotten out of IT Glue is gathering all of our documentation, vendor contacts, assets and passwords into one platform. We no longer have to scour multiple network share folders to find support documentation on a particular application or send out a message to the team about who has the contact info for XYZ vendor. We have also seen a reduction in our budget spending by eliminating the need for a separate asset management tool, password vault and knowledge base platform. All 3 of those functions have now been consolidated into IT Glue for one go-to location for all of this information.
Cons
Importing existing data into IT Glue has been the most challenging piece in two ways. Because it is cloud based, the amount of time it takes to upload data by csv for example can vary greatly depending on where your upload lands in their "queue". I have had a single csv with 2 total lines of password data take upwards of 20 minutes to get the confirmation that it has been uploaded but then a second csv with 50+ lines upload within seconds.
There hasn't been a way to import passwords directly into a user's personal password vault. We first have to upload them to the shared password root folder and the user has to modify them to be visible to only themselves. This leaves their personal data to be briefly open to anyone with access to the password module to click on those entries until they are moved to their private folder.

Avoid at all costs!
This company (Kaseya) have bought many different solutions and turned them into add-ons. The primary solution for five engineers is over £400 per month. When we complained about the system not working as described, they suggested we pay another £2000 per month for Kaseya 365. Our complaint was dealt with by the sales department, which quoted completely inaccurate pricing. I was stupid enough to sign up for 3 years due to large discounts over a 12 month contract. I am now arguing with them to get out of the contract but their contracts are written for them not the Client. Our lawyers have said "While the Agreement is a little confused and unclear in places, the contract is valid". However, the demonstration we had bought little resemblance to the final product as all information had to be entered manually and is not automatic as shown to us.
Pros
The initial demonstration which showed automated field population from ticket systems and Microsoft
Cons
Extra add-ons to make anything work. Poor support. Constant upselling more of their products

IT Glue After 7 Years of Usage
Overall we are quite happy with IT Glue. It absolutely makes knowledge management for our company more efficient and streamlined.
Pros
It provides a solid platform for us to manage all of our documentation; both internal and for clients. It also automates notifications for expirations of various products which saves our techs a lot of time.
Cons
It can sometimes be a bit buggy when it comes to moving or copying documents. It will often take an exorbitant amount of time to execute a document move or copy.

Stefan review
I am very satisfied with IT-Glue and use it almost every day.
Pros
I really like the search function in relation to Knowledge Sharing.
Cons
It’s not so much a specific thing, more that it can be difficult for the slightly older ones in the IT field to figure out that they are not looking at a folder structure-based database.

A good tool for the job we need it to do.
We switched to IT Glue as a new repository for our configuration, licensing and password recording due to its security and ability to link related records.
This includes linking a server to the applications running on it, linked to passwords to their respective management consoles etc.
Pros
Separate but related pieces of information can be linked making it simpler to gain an overall understanding of how a system is set up.
Cons
No real downsides come to mind but then I am not looking for a reason not to like or use it.

Your go-to tool for IT management
I love the flexibility you have with the flexibel assets and integration with DattoRMM. It makes your everyday job so much easier, and you get stuff done even quicker! Also sharing specific assets and documentation directly with your customer trough MyGlue and collaborate in knowledge is a big plus!
Pros
Perfect integration with DattoRMM and the global search works.
Cons
The browser plugin: It sometimes doesn't show the password although the URL is exactly the same and when you look up the password you have to search it two or three (when you need OTP) times.

IT Glue - The best storage of all IT items
It's the best place to save passwords, contacts, documentation, and everything. No more spreadsheets that can be compromised, or not kept updated. The audit log is good too so you can see who or when something was updated.
Pros
The ability to save everything that IT uses, for all users, so nothing gets lost and it's secure.
Cons
Some of the categories could be improved, but they are always updating it.

Good MSP tool
This is a great product and is a very good tool to organize data/knowledge for multiple clients securely
Pros
ITGlue provides all the features to track documentation, processes, environment data, passwords and knowledge for an MSP to manage multiple clients and allow our teams to easily find client data. ITGlue integrates well with our other tools allowing us to sync certain data from other systems to keep some client data up to date automatically
Cons
ITGlue has a steep learning curve to understanding the various concepts and best practices that we have to put a lot of time into training staff to understand ITGlue but once you understands ITGlue's way of organizing everything it is very useful and does make process more efficient

IT Glue is a great solution to manage documentation, assets and keep track of inventory.
With the usage cases mentioned in this review had pretty much no problems, with some exceptions mentioned previously.
Overall an amazing solution that I truly recommend.
Pros
Documentation, asset and credential management is great, how everything can be linked with each other.
Also a great solution to keep track of inventory in your company.
Cons
Documentation migration from previous solutions didn't go as flawlessly originally, some content did not copy over seamlessly, like pictures and attachments.

IT Glue - Quality platform for MSPs
Pre-Kaseya acquisition, IT Glue was awesome as a company. Since then, there has been a lot of churn from a people perspective, but the product continues to be very good.
Pros
IT Glue was easy to set up overall, the most time we spent was entering existing data. My team liked the functionality and how items could be linked to eliminate searching around for documents and then credentials, etc.
Cons
Feature-wise, I think IT Glue is great. Unfortunately, our account reps change constantly and seem to be most interested in upselling or cross-selling over promoting new features.

Consolidate onto one tool for all your Client support information
IT Glue was a game changer for us. Was easy to get of the group relative to other systems we've used in the past, and is a integral part of our day to day operations.
Pros
IT Glue has allowed us to abandon the myriad of alternative solutions we had in the past for document, asset and password management. It's a favorite tool of much of the team, is used constantly, and has both improved the security of client information while allowing us to abandon the mix of tools required in the past to address different features of its functionality.
Cons
While IT Glue has come a long way, the search functionality is still a challenge. The organization and flexibility around that continues to improve, so the necessity of search is actually that high as it's still easy to find information if you manage it well, but searching is a weakness of the product.
