> Athena Workflow is an accounting software solution specifically created to help companies with their everyday accounting tasks and responsibilities. The software is tailored for accountants and provides them with the most essential accounting tools such as file storage, document management, file backup, security, time tracking and many more.
 
Athena Work Flow, allows linking to two additional programs such as: QuickBooks and DocuSign. Through the QuickBooks API we obtain financial information about the company, very useful for analysis and decision making. While with DocuSign it allows us to forget about the papers, and send different documents for their electronic signature, both the signer and the payer can view and download the completed documents at any time.

Athena Workflow consists of a very interactive Dashboard where you will find different Financial graphs, among which we can find client reports for different services, where the number of clients for different types of frequency stands out, the amount that the employee is paid to perform the task, what the client is charged for this same task and the utility that this task generates.

Also in the Dashboard we have graphs of "Profit and Loss" either comparative or in different filters. And different comparative forms according to the needs of each user.

Athena Workflow, consists of a module called "Documents" in which it shows us all the documents saved within Athena. And just looking for you in the filters will guide us to the location where you are. In addition, it shows us the details related to the user who uploaded the document. This module allows us in a very agile way to be able to locate and reach each document, it is a very useful shortcut, to maximize time.

Within Athena Workflow we can find a model called "Reports" in which we find each of the jobs organized in their different status. It presents us with a screen with two views of the jobs, one in the form of a list and the other in the form of rectangles, both arranged in alphabetical form, first showing the jobs that are overdue and then the jobs in progress.

In addition, it allows us to search for jobs or tasks in real time, the filters that this module has integrated are very effective to get to what you are looking for. We can export these reports, to obtain them in another format and to be able to adapt them to the needs of each user.

The "My Jobs" module within Athena works in a similar way to the report module, with the exception that it contains the jobs assigned to a specific user, while the Report module contains the jobs of all users. 

Within its main Athena modules we can find that of Clients, where each of the clients is ordered alphabetically on the main screen showing the amount of work per client, the assigned work team and the date of the last change.

> **Pros**: After trying many different practice management software Athena workflow is one of the most complete accounting practice management software in the industry right now  it even include and  electronic document management module that connect DocuSign to give the accountant the ability to have document sign electronically , it also includes a client portal where the client can save there own  personal documents and the client gets email as a notification when the accountant send him or her documents for review.

> **Cons**: the truth is that this software should sell for a lot more as it includes a lot more features than other softwires of the same magnitude and they are not nickel and diming you.

> Athena has saved us hours of work not only in the electronic document management section of the software but it ha also helped us get more organized as we now just go to one place to find all clients information, bank statements, reconciliations, financial statements, and from there se can share, print, email the documents to the client portal  and the client gets notified. saving us time on tel call etc.
