It supports data access via S3/HTTP(S) through its GUI or APIs, and additionally supports NFS and SMB through the SwarmFS add-on module and DataCore FileFly respectively.

Scale-out storage clusters can be easily designed with any standard x86 server and disks, offering freedom in hardware selection to meet specific requirements. Swarm supports diverse deployment scenarios, including single-site, multi-site, and multi-tenancy, making it suitable for organizations managing data across various groups. With options for hybrid cloud integration, cloud disaster recovery, and archiving, alongside deployment flexibility across bare metal, virtualized, and containerized environments, Swarm is an all-encompassing solution for data storage and management in any setting.
